It’s always so much fun gardening with you two! I love the way you work together and how kind and thoughtful you are of what you say to each other. You are a match made in heaven. I can’t believe how fast your garden has grown, how beautiful it is and how much thought you put into everything you do.
I’ve deliberately avoided watch these last several videos (although it’s HARD not to! 😂) I’m coming for your Garden Tour on Saturday and I want to be surprised! 🥰 So happy I live close to one of many of my favorite gardening RU-vidrs I follow!
Good morning gentlemen. The garden is absolute perfection as usual. I second all the positive comments you have received and know this weekend will be an enormous success, be proud of all your hard work.
I really wish y’all were my neighbors ❤❤❤ you all are just the most kind and positive people! I know this is after the garden show so I hope it all went smoothly! 🌱 🌸 🌲
Hey Guys, I just had a garden show of my gardens last weekend. I totally understand your comments. I found it a little stressful, but in the end it all went well and the people who came through the gardens were very appreciative and complementary. It really was a lot of fun talking to and answering questions for people. I’m in my element when I can show and talk to people about gardening!
If I could teleport myself to New York from Northern Illinois I would - what a treat it would be to partake of your garden walk! Your gardens/yard are gorgeous and I continue to learn so much from you both. Thank you for sharing so much of yourselves and your thought processes as you take us through the evolution of your gardens. Yours is the first channel I check each morning, often listening to older videos over and over to pick up additional tips and tricks. Good luck this weekend - you'll be fabulous!
Ooooof, look at your yard, then look at your neighbors'! You gave us a split screen shot. As usual, your garden is PERFECTION! I'm sure that your weekend garden tour will be a complete success! See you next time!
hi guys try getting a larger measuring cup for the bobbex. I purchased just a cheep one from the dollar store and use it just for the deer repellent. It makes things a bit less messy. 🙂 Garden looks fabulous.❤
Y'all are hysterical! I just love y'all so much! You have the best personalities and commentary. You also apparently shop garden centers the same way I do. 😁
Love your videos they are real love to see some other videos where I asked myself how they give maintenance to this, but you guys are so good showing how You keep everything nicely learned a lot with you guys. Thank you.❤
Ugh! If I could drive up from Maryland this weekend I’d be the first on your doorstep! Hoping you have this tour next year as I’ve been envious of your garden all season ❤😊
Love, love your gardens! I love your style and work ethic to keep the plants looking good throughout the season. My kind of gardening! Wondering what was planted in the little pots that were installed on the siding by your outdoor furniture? Herb? I have used Bobbex too with success until last year when we had severe drought and the deer did not care if the plants were sprayed. 😢This year I combine a couple of sprays together with different ingredients. Seemed to work. Although we had tons of rain this year so deer had plenty to eat and seemed to stay out of my gardens. Now if the bunnies would do the same thing. Good luck with the garden show. I know it will be great!
I realized that you guys subliminally influenced me today... I saw the first part of your video where you went to the garden center, but then I had things to do and kind of forgot about the video. However, not previously having it on my agenda, I then found myself at Home Depot in between activities later buying a North Pole Arborvitae. I didn't think I'd actually find one there and just went to browse for a bit. It was only after I got home that I pointed my finger at you two! Thanks though, because I was casually looking into getting one and it's a good 2 gallon specimen priced on sale for $15! Have a nice time showing tours of your beautiful gardens!
I just watched recent video where you planted the arborvitae at the back of the property. Have you considered a statue on the birm (maybe Venus) to draw your eye through and back? We love everything you’ve done and it’s very inspiring!!! Thanks!
We are coming from SE Pennsylvania! I can’t wait to see your gardens in person but even more …to expose my husband to the spell you’ve put on me!! 😂🌸🌳🌾🌹🌺
I LOVE your garden! First time watching your channel, I'm obsessed. The layers on the border! I find this so challenging to create, how you've incorporated structure and pots - wow just wow. Do you have a map of the garden so I can identify the plants? I I've been gardening for awhile (zone 4b to 5a but rough wind and cold conditions mean tough zone 3 to 4 plants do better) and I need some inspiration - looking forward to watching more of videos and watching your garden transform, thank you!
I’ve been trying to work on my edges, but as someone with physical issues it’s not easy! The one thing that helps is trying to edge after a really heavy rain when my compacted soil is easier to slice through with the edger. Makes a huge difference. Also hope to purchase the powered edger at some point to give it a try. Nothing more satisfying than a clean edge to show off your beautiful garden beds!
@@growformegardening I've been adding new gardens for several years and removing grass is the biggest pain. Old school here. I use a dandelion digger (I dubbed it my pokey poke), punching at the dirt under the mass. Then I shake off as much soil as I can from the clods of grass. I'm currently letting the grass and weeds dry out so I can bag them up and drive to our municipal yard waste site.
I used permanent marker to highlight gallon lines on outside of my sprayer, fill my sprayer with water FIRST, and then use a large plastic measuring cup to add deer product, so I only pour once. (Shake well). It really helps diminish some of the odor when mixing.
Saturday is my birthday. What a wonderful present it would have been if I could come and meet you two and tour your gardens! Have a successful event! - Oh! Because you went to the Garden Center in this video... I had to go before work and picked up some plants! - HA HA HA!
Your garden is truly magnificent! I wish I lived closer to come to your tour. I lived in Albany decades ago so I know your area well. Have a lovely day 🌺
Everything looks beautiful! You can see the love that goes into your garden. The folks on the tour are going to feel so lucky to be able to stroll through your garden!
Gorgeous! I wouldn't have been able to resist the Tuff stuff a-ha, I picked up four the other day with no planned home in mind for them and ended up needing to develop a new section of the garden for them. 😅They're stunners. So happy I just stumbled across y'alls channel, the moment you were talking about escargot and Eric made the "yuck" noise, I DIED laughing. Felt immediately like we would be buds in real life. Psyched to follow along, good luck with the tour!!
I use a mason type jar with the measures on the side. I take a sharpie and mark a line at the amount I use, then I fill that and dump it into my sprayer. That way you are only making one dump into the sprayer and its easier to maneuver. Of course, if you have something larger with a spout that would help too! ;)
Lovely garden video, liked the mix of garden centre, doing garden tasks and seeing your gorgeous garden too 😊. I would suggest a funnel and a measuring jug would help when you need to decant chemicals into your sprayer xx
I’m gonna echo the other commenter and say I absolutely love watching y’all garden! You’ve inspired me so much!! Blessings and prosperity to you both ✨🫶🏾
I am so looking forward to strolling through your gorgeous gardens, you both are going above and beyond to make a perfect presentation and the weather is looking good😀
All the folks who are fortunate enough to be able to personally tour your garden, are in for a real treat! Your dedication, knowledge, enthusiasm and hard work has really paid off in spades! ♠️ Oh how I wish I could be there! 😍Question, do you spray every 28 days as recommended on my ready to go spray? 🇨🇦👏🌸
Good morning🌞your tour will be just perfect, everything looks gorgeous. I laughed with the deer repellent, completely understand, we have to do that every week on an acre, ugh🤣have a fantastic weekend wish I could be there.
For the BobEx, I went to Homegoods and got a small lemonade pitcher, and added dosing lines with a sharpie, the large opening combined with the funnel spout makes it really easy to transport into the sprayer
Just love your garden! So happy to have found your channel (through Chicago Gardener Bethany). Do you remember where you got those beautiful garden stakes seen at 26:13? They really add a sweet touch to that garden bed
I was ready to return my Arborvitae (sp?) but you guys have them perfectly tucked in the same spot I would put them. I don't like to copy people but your pairings 😍
Please talk about your lawn. Everything is beautiful but your lawn is that accessory that just brings it all together. It’s lush and green, what is the height? Kentucky blue?
Your garden is beautiful. Would a measuring cup with a handle help with the deer repellent? May I ask how many inches/feet deep is the bed of rock around your house?
Hello Guys!! Your tour will be a success. Everything looks perfect. Wish I could be there. Could you tell me what the purple weeping tree or bush is? I want to purchase one. I am looking for a Shiloh Splash Birch and a few other plants you have in your garden. Also, a Gatsby Ruby Hydrangea. My hubby owns a red Gatsby. I want to surprise him with the gorgeous oak leaf hydrangea. See you next time.
Hi Love your garden. Absolutely magnificent. I would like to know where you bought the edger from, if you could pls share the info. Thanks Happy Gardening
Hi guys, I’d like to know what your opinion is and on salvia or Speedwell what do you like about him because I noticed you have a lot of salvia in your gardens which I love
I’m curious and surprised why your fence panels aren’t around the whole garden . I would be nervous 😬 if neighbours Dog would come in or kids or scary men and wild animals. New tree is perfect 👌🏽, you want smaller ones so roots grew out more to make it more stable xxx
