** First, I don't know why it's "Let's" and not "Lets", but whatever xD
Second, it's a cool song. Not super exciting for the bass, but it's gotten stuck in my head quite a few times - enough to annoy my girlfriend xD.
Thirdly, it's originally played on a 5 string bass, but this is the 4-string version. You can play the whole thing on the 4 strings no problem, but I used the Schecter since that's what Rick Savage uses.
So, in bar 14 I can't really hear the downbeat of 4. I know the 8th note before and after it, but that one is hard to hear.
Bar 48 is the same (The next verse) and It sounds like beats 3 and 4 go like this: 2-0-2-2
• Def Leppard Live in Sh...
1:06 - uses a pick
4:08 - shows it's a 5 string bass
• Def Leppard - Let's Ge...
1:20, you can see pretty much all of the pre chorus. I know it's a playback, but, in order to look like they're playing for the audience, they are "playing" as the track sounds.
1:47 - you can see the end of bar 42 - he slides down and uses his first finger and then 4th finger and then in bar 43, he does the octave on the downbeat of 4
2:27 shows that it's a five string bass
4:34 - shows at the end he stays up high, but he uses the B string. I'm bringing it down low so it makes sense in context on a 4 string bass
• Def Leppard - Let's Ge...
You can hear most of these things in this one, but can't see them - particularly the 0-2-0 in the verse
• Def Leppard - "Animal"...
8:49 - bar 79 to 80 - he does 7 on the Low B and then 9 on the E. On the track you hear the slide htough, so it's to the 9
Thanks for watching! Enjoy :)
