This is really wonderful to see in Ghana, all African countries should have such markets clean and well organized like this one. I am from Namibia and have been to Ghana and I have seen how innovative and hard working Ghanaian are. The market is a good idea allowing individuals to show case and trade their goods freely. 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏽 I am looking forward to visit one day
The market is so clean Even where the meat market was clean I did not see flies The market reminds me of Jamaica but this market is much cleaner that the ones in Jamaica Never think the market would be so clean
Kwankyewaa, you’re making me homesick 😂! Kumasi is home sweet home. Good food nkooaaaa 😘. We are waiting for more contents. Much love, stay cool and God bless.
Beautiful video but I was sad to see the Kayayo lady carrying what appears to be a heavy load with a baby on her back climbing those stairs. How can we help these ladies and their children? Could be as simple as creating a nursery for these children while their mothers go to work.
Thanks for watching Pauline! A nursery or some from of child care would be very ideal for their circumstances but unfortunately there is nothing like that. We really didn't buy much and when we went upstairs to the fabric section, we found a place at one of the kente shops for her and the baby to wait for us. That baby is very adorable so my friend and I fell in love with her right away. We all pray for the day when our people will get the assistance they so badly need.
My dear life is not easy what about our mothers that carry us on the back and farming 24 h it is life. If you are use to it you don't see it difficult..I remember carrying my brother and farming tooo
Its really hard to get through to the Kayayo girls and ladies they do not trust easily i have tried helping some before its even hard to speak to them. It wouldn’t be an easy task you have to be amongs them, I don’t blame them either the circumstances they are in
Awww how i wish i was in Kumasi to see u🤗Akwaaba oo menua. Waba, tenase🇬🇭☺I know u will enjoy ur stay in Ghana. It's the politics part for me.Typical Ghanaians😂😂
All I can say is that may the almighty God bless that poor woman backing her child plus carrying the host goods on her head too 🤔 may God gives her longer life good health peace and prosperity to eat fruits of her labour 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great video - especially for any one wanting to visit Kumasi but has never been there yet. You have a real impression of what the market places are like.
How was it shopping in Kumasi, It looks so beautiful and lots of people shopping. By the way you look so gorgeous and beautiful with the hairstyle and dress 😍😍😍 Loved watching today's video 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Sending love always 💕💕💕
The market was built by former president John Mahama. It's a 3-storey. It has over thousand stores, food cot, car pack, clinic, school, and a police post. This is phase one. The phase 2 is central Market which is under construction by the current government. It will be bigger than this one.
Waooh its so good to be home.. i can tell the vibe talking to your pple having fun while shopping. But I feel like you want to buy the whole market .😂enjoy.
Well done to presidentJohn mahama and his government for this beautiful edifice in Kumasi I wish every regional capital in Ghana can get this type of market.

I'm an npp but because of this I will vote for Mahammah,he has a good vision,whaaat??....say the truth for Allah to bless you,I believe he would have done this for every region by now if he is the president
There is nothing like shopping in the African open markets, the freshness, the quality, did I mention being able to save money here and there by bargain. Thanks so much for sharin.
So clean and dear mommas are seated very comfortably to handle their business. That is the only way to treat our mothers. Very fresh and looks fun shopping here. This is how Merkato market in my home town Addis Ababa, Ethiopia should look like. Well, this is how all of Mamma Africa’s markets should look like. I am so happy to see this. It gives me so much hope. Bravo Ghana. 🎉❤
