@@MultimediaJay Mine are on the way out.... The cable for the jack has finally decided to go funky on me. Funky as in the cable has now have to be in a certain position for it to work...until now, the sound has become tinny and faded after an hour of using them and I haven’t even touched the cable that’s in my PC. They are 10+ years old. would it be possible for me to cut off the jack, cut off about an inch or two of the cable, strip the cable, use some solder and a soldering iron and then finish the job with some shrink wrap?. I’m just hoping it’s not “bastard cable” as my farther calls it (the type of cable that has string fibres in it and is impossible to repair). Or wouldn’t it be worth it at all and just buy some new speakers?
