I've had mine 8 years now. Black magic, no mods apart from a black carpet as the white one was minging and got sick of cleaning it all the time. Never selling it as I love it so much. Mines on 120K now so still quite low mileage . They are just a good all round car and still hold their own on the roads theses days . Subscribed to see what you do to it.

Great cars these, had a corrida red 53 plate one, basic map to 240bhp, was wicked. If memory serves me right, it could do over 60 in 2nd gear!

Hey up cocker ! Great vid , me and my wife bought one yesterday !!! Our first quick car in 16 years !!! Had to be sensible for the kids , ours has had some good solid mods , and it's been owned my and rebuilt by an absolute gentleman, pick it up next Saturday, cannot wait , the sheer joy of enjoying driving again !!!! It's like being 21 again !!! Car looks really tidy !!! Can't wait to see how it all goes , kind regards Darren , got ours for 1900 sheets !! Only an hour from our home !!! Winning !!

Very nice. Even more so from, Leith. Nice bloke and managed to have a chat to him a few years ago about his WRC Octavia's (and, his collection). A couple of things. The rear spoiler was never lacquered from the factory. The door locking system like most VAG have a 30 second auto-lock. You must put the key in the ignition or, it'll auto-lock the doors. Also, someone has added what looks to me as a 'blow off valve'. These engines are not designed to work with them. If you can (and, if you haven't already), replace it with a genuine OEM 'Diverter Valve'. Shouldn't be more than £50. The vent slats are all independent, so you can pick up any vent and just swap over the slates. Be sure to join the Briskoda forum!

Super nice. Good to hear you’re bringing it back to 100 % original condition. I have a 1.8 turbo too. Great car. You can replace the lamel of the heater ventilation. Check for dirt behind the front mud flaps and behind the plastic wheel arch cover. You don’t want rust in the future. Dirt building up there. Greetings from the Netherlands.

Great cars, owned mine 9 years, a good one drives great. Hopefully you've changed those ditch finder tyres for some decent brand ones by now...continental or uniroyal works well. A decent performance exhaust helps power and economy.

I know mate to be honest I wasn't looking to buy one specifically. A friend of mine recently bought one and used it for track days. So it isn't as clean as yours but from what I'm learning they cheap to modify etc. Which is a bonus as im not a millionaire. I do want to tidy it uo tho. Wheels need a referb and probly some new lights. So work im progress. My clutch is going buy veen told its only like £100 quid and i work part time at a car garage so will do the work on it there to save cost. I'm in my 30's same as you so i may be having a midlife crisis lol as the one I have is a proper boy racers version as has upgraded inter cooler and turbo and straight threw exhaust so it pops and bangs and likes to spit flames also. The miss's isn't impressed but hey it puts a smile on my face and I'm only going to be using it as a weekend car for fun. I'm from the midlands where about are you? It be nice to meet up one of the days and go for skoda cruise 😆 send me your email I'll send some pics and videos

I had an estate with a k300 turbo, audi tt steering rack, 6 speed gearbox with a diff, 286bhp still got all the graphs, wish I'd kept her

Last comment, I always wanted another one and look from time to time, but my issue is it will never be as good as my old car, I did wayyy to much to it and couldn't justify doing it all over again, the time money invested, all gone because of my crazy ex. Fancy a 5pot focus st next

@@projectfearn get a of pd150 6 speed Init mate , even more fun ! On a private road mine seen 164mph 2 up with a set of wheels in back ! So underrated , handling not the best but for what year they came out , skoda came into there own
