Let's install Wordpress on Docker using an instance on Oracle Cloud - Ubuntu 20.04

In this video, do the installation of our Wordpress from Docker. This time we will be using Ubuntu, so installing Docker will be a little different than what we did on Oracle Linux, so it's worth reviewing the Docker installation step.
Furthermore, we will have to install Portainer to manage our containers, and Nginx Proxy Manager to manage our sites.
We will do the installation in Docker, as we don't want to dedicate this virtual machine only to our WordPress but we can use this instance for other applications.

Hi, the website you attach to this video has differences in the text u using. can u attach to the website indented? i can't use the way is on because portainer show errors. and I have a question to u. it's possible use ddns from noip instead cloudflare?

If I copy the one on the web page linked in the description, it doesn't work. I found the right one sudo docker run -d -p 9000:9000 --name portainer --restart always -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock -v portainer_data:/data portainer/portainer-ce:latest -H unix:///var/run/docker.sock And in general don't copy any of the content from the linked web page.

Thanks bro for this tutorial.. I removed docker for some problem but aftet installed again like you i got a problem in nginx it doesn't forward my domain to the port 8000 always show err ssl protocol or 502 bad gateway

command lines are colaps as you know yml files are very sensitive to space and tabs please share correct file

Never measure, but I believe Jose is right, NGINX. This proxy manager work at the same speed as you local at your network.

Hello CRC, check if you open all the required ports on the virtual Network. Also, could you please check if you Dynamic DNS is working well. The website uk.sauber-lab.com/ is current working at the same process. So should be working fine for you.

I never try to install WordPress on an Android. I don`t believe it to be a stable system, You will use only Wifi, also the heating will be Hight for the phone. Or maybe I did not get your question.

Could you please help to understand which command is wrong? What issue you are having? Could you please tell me if you are not able to install docker and Portainer, or you are not able to install Worpdpress? In this way will be easy to see what is wrong to update it.
