13:20 is this the same black you used for lining? because it looks much lighter or is it because of the shader? keep up the good work, thanks for your videos :)

Yes. Ben uses the same ink. Just different techniques makes the ink lighter. Make you check out all the other videos. He explains how to use the same ink to create different effects.

Hi Ben! Do you keep the same voltage for lining and whip shading? I line at 8.5 and when i whipped at 8.5 it looked like amateur hour. When i turned v down to 3.5 my shading was beautiful, like yours, but it took me 3x as long as you took. Yours sounds like a high voltage..?

It totally depends on your hand speed really. Because you may move your hand a lot slower you will need to run your machine slower to compensate. It’s a case of working out the correct bolts for you individual hand speed. Hope that helps

@@BenFisherOfficial The sol Nova runs on mhz right not voltage indicator; tip for the rest listen to the speed of Ben's machine! adjust when needed. I got 2 sorts of machines wich have different stroke settings. it all depends on the speed. Thanks Ben!!
