I am happy to learn about a "lovely" of ladybugs. 🐞 🐞🐞. Ladybugs are special to me as related to my mother whose CB Radio handle was "Ladybug". I am always thrilled to find one. 🐞 The stitching on the bodice of the dress is so sweet.

So cute, great individual idea to do a ladybug girl instead if a fairy. I think faces are really hard to draw, even simple features don't always look right, yours looks cute by the way. Can't wait to see her hair. Beautiful dress so far. I used to do abit of sewing and making rag dolls, not done for years. I've nicked your phase 'possum Patty straight' coz I can't cut straight either, lol.
