Love this table runner!!! As the holidays come upon is it is sew refreshing to find a tutorial that is clear, pain and simple! And, oh gosh, Halloween is one of my favorite! Ordered fabric and plan to make about three of these!!🎃

Great question! I actually did not use a hoop. This was my first time hand quilting so it never even crossed my mind. Haha! It might have come in handy though because sometimes it was a chore flipping the fabric back and forth. Perhaps I'll try a hoop the next time around! Thank you and thanks for watching! It's a rather fast make so you could knock it out in a day for sure.
You totally should! Try everything at least once is what I say. So for this project, I just used what I already had on hand which was a package of 6 colors or Pearl (Perle) Cotton thread. I don't even remember when or where I got this package from! The package didn't list a thread weight but from Googling, pearl cotton comes in four weights, #3, #5, #8 & #12. The most common size is #8. So while I'm not 100%, I'm thinking it's an #8.
