It's actually funny that you think Yeosang and Wooyoung would be good friends because they've actually been best friends ever since they were trainees back when they were under BigHit and after Yeosang left, Wooyoung followed after him to KQ.

At 3.30 is not Ateez song its bts fire. Etini is more recent and one of the best guides. They are a very powerful group with a vocal king. Very chaotic and probably the loudest in k pop. Welcome among us baby Atiny! I wish more and more people knew Ateez, they deserve all the love in the world, stanning them was one of the best decisions of my life! Ateez pirates concept is so original, they can handle different styles, their B-side tracks are so beautiful and their live performances are spectacular (i still can't get over those of Kingdom, i suggest you to check them out) For me it wasn't, cause Wooyoung's stage presence and personality immediately caught my attention (he's become my ultimate💜), but i can understand perfectly who says that choosing a bias in Ateez is very difficult: they are all amazing, each of them can sing, rap and dance flawlessly and oh my gosh the VISUALS... also they're all so funny, i love to watch their series, they are real comedians 🤣 But the thing i love most to see in this group is the sincere affection they feel for each other, their friendship and the chemistry they have are so precious 🥰

Welcome onboard the pirate ship, hope you enjoy your stay^^ Seonghwa is indeed an interesting one, off stage he is the softest, gentlest, and the most caring person, the other members go to him for comfort and are very protective of him (and so are atiny). However, on stage he gives captivating, intense and emotional performances. He is part of ATEEZ' demon line* for a good reason, after all. Also he is a nerd, and we love him for that^^ *Demon line is the unofficial term atinys refer to Hongjoong, San and Seonghwa, as they completely transform on stage going so into the characters they are at times borderline demonic in the best possible way. Though all the 8 members have their demonic moments and have amazing stage presence and performance skills, those 3 are especially known for it.

I like the walkthrough at the start of what you know so far, it's always so much fun to follow the journey of someone getting to know Ateez. I see fellow Atiny have already mentioned the guide by ETINI, it's well recommended cause it covers a lot. Sleep is important but our Captain tends to sleep a lot in the studio, or in the common living room hahaha. You were right about Wooyoung and Yeosang btw, they have been friends for 8+ years now I think, they met before joining KQ. Wooyoung is a big ARMY, it’s so funny. Same with Mingi and Yunho, they knew each other before KQ. An easy way to get a feel for them is their behind the scenes videos or their casual vlogs. Seonghwa's my bias. His face caught my attention and made me check out Ateez and he's still my fave to this day. Though Wooyoung turns my head every now & then 😆. For good compilations there is one something along the lines of Hongjoong's Guide To Raising Demons which is funny. And they did a handful of challenge videos with the RU-vid channel Hello 82 which are so much fun. I really love their 3 part docu-series on M2 called Treasure. It was filmed while they were in Australia and gives you such a great insight. I was laughing my head off then crying near the end. It would probably get blocked on here, but definitely great to watch in your own time 🥰.

Normally, watching the most watched guide would work, but the channel with the most watched one (A Helpful Guide to stanning Ateez by Etini) was deleted. It was later re-uploaded to Johnny X Reacts' channel. There are now newer guides than A Helpful Guide to stanning Ateez, but I think it still does the best job showing how loveable they are. The reason you probably didn't know the guys in black were ATEEZ is because those videos are pre-debut when they were generically called KQ Fellaz. At debut, the only members with specific titles were Hongjoong (leader) and Jongho (main vocal). San debuted as a vocalist. Everyone thought he was the main dancer before he was added to the dance line (Hongjoong said it would be ridiculous not to consider him part of the dance line at this point),but I don't know whether they ever updated their website. It's a pretty old guide but it's not a bad starting point as long as you remember that a lot has happened and changed since their debut. It's also not super accurate in regards to the positions it lists for them - i.e. Yeosang is a vocal/performer, San is the lead vocal and his dance position is semi-official and earned slowly rather than appointed, the main dancers are Yunho, Wooyoung and Mingi. Also, Seonghwa is a super soft bunny, he's very sociable (a quiet kind of extrovert) and has the absolute dorkiest sense of humour. He's a very warm, emotionally open, comforting person but he also has a temper. He used to look stressed all the time trying to herd all those cats but he's relaxed a lot since their early days. Hongjoong too, actually, especially with paired with Wooyoung and Seonghwa. Hongjoong is also the one who's in the closest contact with Atiny, he chats with us literally every day, he puts a huge effort into building a solid, cooperative friendship between the group and us rather than some fake boyfriends bs or whatnot. As for Wooyoung, he isn't such a screaming machine anymore, he's matured a lot (still has his witch/goblin laugh though :)). He's fiercely loyal, loving and protective, you might have seen him telling fans off without hesitation for improper behaviour for example. Staff adores him for how caring he is towards everyone. The most mature-acting and serious out of them is Jongho but he also has the best, driest sense of humour and he loves his huyngs a lot even if he's not the best at expressing it. He's also probably the smartest out of them, in a cunning way, and a great actor (in group content but also on TV, he was many people's favourite character on Imitation). Mingi might come across as silly bc his focus is random at lest and he has very little filter in terms of expressing emotions but he's the kind with deep, poetic reflections too. He doesn't sugarcoat things and you won't hear a lot of cute fanservice-y lines from him. He needs a lot of attention, affection and praise to thrive. San is the most earnest one with unshakeable, uncompromising values and ethics, he never lies and his emotional intelligence is incredible. He's the groups biggest hype man. He will act like a silly kid one moment and the next say things so moving you're going to cry. Yunho is the happiest one and he's also a super reliable support for other members. They call him a "golden retriever", for obvious reasons. Very competitive and always wins in games (both by skill and by luck). He's also a great actor. Yeosang used to be very shy but got better, although he can still regress into adorable awkwardness from time to time. The rest of the group adores him and says he's pure and innocent, but he can also be very blunt and roast them mercilessly. He has a reputation for being smart with quite unusual ways of thinking.

Hong is a producer, but he is not the only nor is he the main producer since that is eden and the producing group edenary which concists of eden, leez, ollunder, buddy and now also maddox. (ollunder and leez are also the producers for dreamcatcher)
