hello. I am your fan living in Korea. I am learning Blender to work at a company and your lectures are very helpful. Your lecture is perfect, but I have one wish. It makes your keyboard buttons or mouse clicks appear on your screen. This requires a separate program and is very cumbersome, but it is a great help to a beginner like me. Lastly, I would like to express my endless gratitude for your videos and channel.

This tutorial is amazing. I've been using Blender for longer than I'd like to admit, and I cannot BELIEVE that I never knew about the 'connected only' checkbox for proportional editing. If I was drinking coffee when you did that, I would have spat it out on my monitor and keyboard. Your channel is very underrated. You have a very mathematical approach to Blender and it works very well.

this is beautiful! i love the look of detailed classical architecture thats been rendered down to normal maps (seen in games like Dark Souls and such), but i never knew how to accomplish it. i half-wondered if they just painted the heightmaps, since the details seemed too smooth and complex to achieve. this answers my questions, and your process makes it so simple, reversible, and understandable!

This attempt is different than the previous one. In this one, we trace the outline of the leaf, effectively making a spoon-like cups. In the previous attempt, we traced the veins instead and folded them forward

Hello. Great video. I don't know if that is your area of expertise at all, but i was wondering if you could maybe expand a little into the architecture side of things. Like why does this element looks this way? Why this specific shape? Why this specific proportion? And etc.

Hello! 🙂Yesterday I sent a comment with a question since I was stuck at 26:07, downscaling and repositioning of the first leaf. You probably didn't receive it for some reason. Anyway, I have solved the problem in the meantime - I had the pivot points on "multiple" instead of "median" for some reason 😅 So now I can move on. Thanks again for your fantastic tutorials and your excellent and very pedagogical explanations. 🙂

Firstly I want to thank you for this tutorial. That said, i also would like to point something out: Between finishing the acanthus leaf and before lofting it around 8 instances you have a cut. Somewhere in between there must have been some adjustment that's missing. When I follow your tutorial 4 of the 8 leaves end up slightly crooked when rotating them around the column. The origins all match. My only fix for this was to apply all the shape keys and to apply all deformations, and then just distribute them old school, through duplication and rotating around column center. Still, Thank You for those brilliant tutorials!
