Yeah! Long story short, my daughter is *thriving* after a very tough first year, and I've got some of my time back for myself to work on these projects again. Going to take it easy and do a video every 3-4 weeks for now, but that's better than the last year+ :D
Have been really loving these tutorials and wanted to try my own hand at replicating it, given my current situation however I have to make do with what I've got and was wondering if you think black acrylic paint instead of ink could still work for this technique?
Black paint can work, it just doesn't flow as nicely. When you're trying to do 20 little parallel hatch marks, you don't want to have to stop halfway thru to clean your brush and get more paint. But if you need to use paint, Coal Black from Monument is pretty nice.
