If you've cleaned up the arena, this mission is laughably easy. All you'll be doing is slashing and darting back. If you take an assistant (or two) you can use them to draw fire away from you and make your AP last longer. It's a relatively short mission overall, six waves of three enemies from the north and south. The structure of the area can be a nuisance, but it's possible to get through it without issue.
I find it funny that the friendly units just blunder around stupidly when there's nothing to shoot at, but what are you going to do? If you want to S-Rank it, you'll need to do it solo. Take a powerful energy weapon like a plasma rifle or a plasma cannon is the best way I've found. You need to destroy the bazooka MTs before they can even think about firing at the Monorail.
