Let's Play Atomic Heart Part 2 - Vavilov Complex 

As a Russian who lives in America, I can say a few things about this game so far: 14:09 - that's an actual old Russian cartoon called "Ну Пагади". Brings back a lot of childhood memories! It's basically about a wolf trying to capture the rabbit - similar to the Disney cartoons about the coyote and him trying to eat the speed running bird. Surprisingly, in the first episode I heard some of the familiar classical Russian songs though they were performed in the game by someone in our day and age, like the song "Миллион Алых Роз" ("Millions Of Scarlet Roses") by Алла Пугачева (Alla Pugacheva), one of the famous singers in Russia (alive to this day). You know, the design of visuals and sound remind me of some of the old Russian cartoons I watched, like "Тайна Третьей Планеты" ("The Mystery of the Third Planet"), but with mixture of modern vibes. The robot design in the game especially give me a nostalgic throwback to that cartoon. I also think the game's visual design and sound is also somewhat influenced by cosmism - a philosophy that was quite extensively written about and explored in Russia when USSR existed; the cartoon I mentioned was also influenced by it to some degree as well. If the developers are trying to capture the USSR but make it technologically futuristic - then they'd probably tap into these cultural aspects and the visual representation of the far advanced future. However, like you, I also thought that the game was probably influenced by Bioshock and others - you can feel that especially with how the beginning was presented (idealistic, almost utopian).

So happy you’re playing this game. I love the fact that you read stuff because I always like to read all that and most RU-vidrs just don’t bother. And I love the fact that you took about an hour to get where most of them seem to get to in about 15 minutes. So far so good! You're adapting to the game mechanics pretty quickly, including combat with those freaky robots. The sound effects creeped me out at times and I wasn't even playing! Glad it's you in there and not me. ;-) Onward!

The more you practice how to fight these robots the better you will get. Also if you walk around and hold to pick up material you can pick up everything in the room. Great game.❤️🙏🙏👍

I tried this game a couple of days ago, it's free on XBox game pass, and I'm actually enjoying it as well. I played for a couple of hours and the only thing so far I don't like, actually despise, are the quick time events, like trying to do the sneak attack. The game doesn't do a good job on telling you how QTEs work.

Use the shotgun

Injecting people with polymers doesn't seem too healthy to me. :) Those robots are ferocious. Wow! I wonder if it would be easier using a controller.
