I found the most notable thing about that weird "Crucible Elden Ring" design is that Radagon's cross-lines-rune seems to be missing completely. So, I guess it is a pretty old depiction of the Elden Ring, or maybe - as you mentioned - the Elden Ring is actually just a part of an actually bigger rune. At this point I wouldn't be surprised about that with how runes just gets added, stolen, re-added, and sometimes even created on the spot by some guy who eats dung. :D
I kinda liked Blackguard, so in ny NG+, I used Seluvis' potion on Dungeater before I bought any crabs from Blackguard. This way, he doesn't move to the moat until Dungeater has been dealt with.
A random little thought about colour-coding (like how how the godskins all use white-edged-in-black magic, or how each all dragon stuff uses vibrant red lightning, etc.). Would I be right in thinking that nothing else in the game uses the red-with-black-edges that malekith has on his attacks? If so, it's a neat bit of attention to detail by the devs, because nobody else *could* be using the power of destined death while malekith had it locked away.
Heartbreaking how Hewg just loses his grip here, almost nobody left in your "home". And still nobody took care of that fire! lol A thing that occured to me about Marika and Hewg... She told him to smith a weapon to kill a god? I think this is not a foreshadowing to the Elden Beast, especially since the Elden Beast isn't even "classified" as a god, but as a vassal or something like that, if I remember right? What if Radagon actually forcefully took over Marika's body/will and Marika somehow managed to got some things rolling so that you as the player and the people in the Roundtable Hold come and kill her and by proxy Radagon?
The all depictions of the modern elden ring has Radagon's lattice on it, curious that the farum azula elden ring doesn't have that and it's more spread out.
@@elizabethcassidy8082 Very interesting observation Elizabeth. Idk if you watch the lore guy "Crunchy" but he just made a video going deep into Radagon theories, you should watch it if you have the time. I just finished watching it and thought it was like synchronicity that you said Radagon was *created* Melina, Radagon, and Miquella have to be thee most mysterious characters in the game.
@@MadDannyWest Thanks for the recommendation, it was a great vid! My observation came from a fan artist's comment that they thought that Radagon was a construct, which fits with the rebus idea. Speaking of rebus, I swear I've seen it elsewhere in Elden Ring. I tried looking it up and all it brought up was the word puzzles.
@@elizabethcassidy8082 The thing I always thought was similar to the rebus was the Twin Bird god on the Twin Bird Kite Shield, it looks like they're conjoined in a way that suggests they're one in the same. D. And his brother are also similar in the sense that they are one soul in 2 bodies, which kind of makes them the opposite of Radagon and Marika
@@MadDannyWest Oh good catch. What is currently driving me nuts is the fact that I saw the word "rebus" in some item descriptions or dialog but I cannot remember it for the life of me. It wasn't too long ago so I think it was related to Farum Azula.
