Just beat ds3 and the dlc's for the first time s few days ago and hell fire gangstas i gotta say. Its up there with elden ring. Glad they removed that hollowing bs outta 3.

If the soul brings clarity, is the candle wax that blinds the Maiden in Black representative that the Monumentals clouded that clarity and gave birth to her candle maiden persona whose purpose is to return the old one to slumber instead of her true self which was a deadly demon? That would be really cool

Uhhh... no. I think Dark Souls 1 could stand on its own. DS2 is connected to DS1. DS3 is connected to DS1, and 'barely' connected to DS2. None of the other ones are connected, and I'd never imply that.
I love Dark Souls humans so much because of one big reason. In stories, humans are mostly shown as the bad of the world, a cancer that can't be snuffed out. In Dark Souls, humanity is the victim through and through, being cheated out of death and their destiny
Aight I’m beating this game. Recently beat Elden Ring DLC and Dark souls 3. Dropped Demon Souls cause the White and Dark tendencies mechanic and I was just busy.
They ruined so much in the remake 🤦♂️ the original adjudicator was great because his skin look like it was made of gold which went well with the light bird
This doesn't make sense though (part of it). Manus pulled the chosen undead to the past, not cause it's the chosen undead but for his pendant which is broken still holding power. You can't obtain the pendant untill dukes archive's which means you already placed the lord vessel. Might have talked to Kaathe to bring the age of dark. For accessing the dlc/pulled by Manus. Kaathe led Manus to the dark. A human to a creature fueled by power essentially creating Abyss. Gwyn sent his Knight Artorios to stop the Abyss (ofc he never wanted the age of dark, he is pissed off by it). Which means, Manus was supposed to bring the age of dark. He failed as the chosen undead slayed him, but unrecognised cause of paradoxes and only mentioned as the champion of Artorios. Kaathe still seeks the age of dark leading the chosen undead. Now you can see that history is repeating itself. Which does not make sense slaying the father of the dark causes it's evil and becoming the evil. Keep in mind that, Dark souls = Humans(creature with humanity)
Good video and I'm glad you made a point to not take a side in regards to the Dave siller controversy. The truth can't be fully confirmed or denied when both parties have such contradictory stories for what happened. I do think Andy and Jason had flaws that got in the way of their judgement. But the same can be said for Dave's side who believe they were the main contributors for Crash being brought to life while downplaying Naughty Dog's efforts at every turn. There are no heroes and villains in this scenario. But fans like to jump to conclusions based on who they respect more.
