Yeah but the thing is you have to secure italy beforehand anyways so you need military tech. Atm i haveeeeeee all of italy/sicily and am holding it until i can create a navy and strong enough armor to hold off the spanish navy and army from re invading italy. And there is a church in sicily that you can use.
It's the Papal States, the Holy See of the Roman Catholic Church. That's why there's the Keys of Saint Peter on the flag and the Pope is the monarch. As a Catholic wanting Catholic world domination, it's disappointing.
He's most likely running Darthmod. There's another mod titled Causa Belli that allows for better gameplay with the minor nations but i think it's a sub mod for Darthmod
