Many an hour lost playing this game when it came out. Is there a reliable way to get this working on Windows 11? I so far had no luck.... This and B17 Flying Fortress were where I got the majority of my WW2 air war history. The manuals were huge books, covering basic flight manuals of the planes, but also a short history of the war. *sigh* the good ol' days. It's also where I learnt some handy early German phrases such as "Gute treffer! Gute treffer!" (spelling?) and "Ich steige aus!"
Exactly my friend, these years were somehow amazing. I also love that era. Games were simply made better. I am using the GOG version, Hubert was using the Steam version of EAW. I am playing on Win10 machine, but might be working also on Win11.
