While attending college, I repaired these "computerized" pinball machines. The company I contracted to for repair gave me an electro mechanical Elton John "Pinball Wizard" machine as a thank you gift, which I still have today and it is still running fine! Thanks for the memories! Greg
@@Robothut Hi John, My wife finally retired and we've been traveling. During our travels, I became ill but recovered rapidly and am fine. Thanks for your videos, I watch them in there entirety! Greg
Very creative. Late Late show music is a change from typical heavy metal guitar licks. What a complicated machine. Noticed black rubber bands on flippers. Never seen an index pin for save ball, indeed kid friendly, gives 'em a chance to improve their skills before throwing their hands up & quitting altogether. Nice.
You were so close to a free game! I was going to mention the match feature at the end most people forgot that You'd be waiting on a game & sometime the player matched or you matched & were psyched. JAR must be the WA pinball wizard !! 😁
Ozzy have you ever looked in to the new Virtual pinball machines. They are made in Florida, they hold over 1000 vintage and current pinball games. Here is a link to a video on a deluxe one. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FYDoRwCYips.html You will see they are full size pinball machines that use HD screens and mechanical sound devices and motion sensors.
I was surprised to see that your high score is nearly 9 billion. The numbers get so high they become meaningless after a while. I had always wondered about this machine, little more than a reprogrammed Pinbot. But I can see what you mean about placing it in casinos. The easy listening soundtrack would fit right in there.
Yes the score display getting higher and higher year after year never made sense to me. The old Egg Head had a possible high score of only 1999. Now that made sense but scores in the billions is crazy.
