I wish they explained things to Jack / Ryan a little better. Not doing tricks on jumps, not collecting coins, those things add up and make it hard to win.

This is honestly one of if not my favorite videos they have put out in a while. Just the total ease of the conversations and the obvious fun the crew is having brings a whimsicality to the video and it's absolutely fantastic. Fantastic job guys. If this is the tone 2018 has then I think it's gonna be the best year for LetsPlay yet.

I will admit this, in the last 3 or so Mario Let's Plays, Lindsay has really gotten better & better. So happy for her to win most of these matches. :)

Unpopular opinion here: I adore Lindsay. I find her incredibly funny and I love it when she's in videos. Her banter with the others is hilarious, especially with Michael. While she tends to struggle in other games, she's an ace here. I just love her so much. Screw the haters 😋

@gavin and michael you dont need the horn to dodge the blue shell, with a perfectly timed shroom/speed boost you can avoid it.

It's really great to see Lindsay enjoy a game that she's _good_ at, rather than enjoying a game simply because she doesn't really know what's going on or how to do something. Watching her rock so hard and crush the others is fantastic to witness, just like her "strategy" and crack-hands in Mario Party

In regards to Gavin’s blue shell statement regarding the horn being the only way to avoid them: false, they can also be avoided with the boo item or with extremely well timed and frame perfect use of a mushroom

I definitely do not like Lindsay in quite a decent amount of videos she is in, but I actually like Lindsay in this video. Put her in videos where she is actually decent at the game and a good chunk of complaints will disappear. Also video games where you can have more then 4 players is EXTREMELY recommended.

Gavin said there is no way to avoid the blue shell without the horn, but you can avoid it more ways Since you can see the blue shell on the map, you can let 2nd place overtake you and let them get hit by it. Jump off the map at the correct time such that you are being dragged by the lakitu while it hits you. If you time a mushroom or other boost a few frames before the shell drops on you, you will boost outside the blast radius. A golden shroom works similarly. If you somehow get a bullet bill up to first, you will be immune to the blue shell when it explodes. A super star will let you survive it. A boo gives you i-frames right after using it, so if timed correctly, you wont take damage from the blue shell. Getting shocked with lightning while it is directly above you will destroy the blue shell

Gavin, not true. The horn isn’t the only item that can be used to avoid the blue shell. If you time it just right you can use a mushroom or even a bullet bill to avoid it.

A tip for Ryan that might be causing his drifting problem: Even when you're using the controller, the motion controls are still working. So if your using the controller to turn left, but you're angling it slightly right, it won't count for boosting and will make you take really crappy turns. So always intentionally angle the controller in the direction you're turning. My friends didn't bother telling me this and let me just rage for an hour when we played for this same reason.
