its a cool hack, but why would you get overpowered at the beginning? wouldn't it be more fun if you acquired the items as you defeat every boss?

Man, this looks like a really poorly made hack. Really low quality texture work, there are lots of glitchs in the backgrounds.

Giving yourself super missiles and max energy tanks before you even fight anything makes this hack way too easy.

I was beginning to lose my mind. I THOUGHT boss rush was in the actual game, I remembered gaining tons of power ups after another. Yet metroid didn’t ever have boss rush. Then I found this video and realized I watched this LONG ago. What a trip down memory lane lmao. Thank you for keeping this video up. Saved my sanity

I would always watch this video as a 5 year old thinking “I wanna play this” now that I’m 14, I realize that there’s just a download link in the description. God I was stupid.

I think the gimmick with the whole opening segment is that you can choose what power ups to take for the bosses, implying that you can take in the bosses without every single item.

So most of the video is collecting power-ups 12 Energy tanks 50 Missile expansions and 15 Super Missile Expansions and 9 Power Bomb Expansions 86 in all GEES!!!

Just so you guys know, you can actually skip some of the items such as the missles, super missiles, energy tanks, and power bombs, or play the game in hard mode which cuts everything in half anyway.
