I generated a new world in peaceful and listened to all three Let's Plays as podcasts while I tried to build Geoff's house. I figured it was a cool thing to do. Turns out, the other five people, unlimited diamond pickaxes, and a third of the house being done for you are kind of crucial to finishing that thing. I, uh, did not even finish the fucking floor.

I like this kind of Minecraft Let's Play and the Let's Builds because it sort of turns into half a LP and half an Achievement Hunter podcast.

It's hard explaining to my normal friends that I spend hours watching 6 dudes play Minecraft and talk about random shit.

They should do a clouds let's play in the nether with obsidian blocks, while Geoff is flying around placing Ghast and Blaze's eggs.

Okay, so I posted a rough draft on an earlier video but this is the final draft. Please take the time to read through this idea because its a great one. My friend cbearsfreak20 came up with the base idea and I helped him revise it and make it even better. Thank you. This idea is for a game to find out just how far Ryan will go to protect Edgar. This game is called Free Edgar 2014. Ryan will be provided enchanted iron armor with a non-enchanted diamond chestplate and a diamond sword with a knockback enchantment. Everyone else besides Ryan will get 30 minutes to mine and prepare to battle Ryan which could include making armor, weapons, enchanting, and just collecting everything they might need to defeat Ryan. During the 30 minutes Ryan could build a wall around his house but it can't be made out of anything stronger than cobblestone. After the 30 minutes of prep ends, everyone except Ryan will battle Ryan, try to kill him, and if successful, free Edgar. That means getting him out of the hole and out of his house. They will have 20 minutes to try to free Edgar. Note: they don't have to kill Ryan to get to Edgar. If they succeed, the person who actually pushed him out of his house wins the Tower of Pimps and gets to either keep Edgar or set him free. If no one succeeds, then Edgar will stay in Ryan's house and Ryan wins the Tower of Pimps. Also, do you remember the sign in Ryan's house that says "In case of emergency break glass."? During this video, they should change it to "In case of emergency Free Edgar 2014". This game can be played every year forever and ever. Let's Play Geoff's House is the best minecraft let's play they have ever done! I've literally re-watched it like a thousand times and i never get bored of it. the classic conversations, the hidden underrated lines and moments that you usually only notice and appreciate after you re-watched it, the chill and "relaxing" vibes, etc. i love it! --- i feel like this 3 part video almost perfectly shows what the "ray" era AH *FELT* like when they're at their best: a group of friends just playing video games together. 1. there's no moment that felt forced. 2. no one is forcefully put in the spotlight, nor trying too hard to be in one. 3. they very very rarely ignore the other people in the room because they're trying to do their own thing that only they think is entertaining and more important for the video. 4. when there's a competition, jack was the only one who is trying too hard to win, and was the only one who spends the whole video complaining when he's loosing. 5. they can banter with each other without any one of them getting easily offended. 6. the commentary isn't just about the game, but also about other things in life (like old movies/tv shows, their plans for the year, stories, etc.) 7. a lot of t-shirt worthy one liners. --- P.S. Although i do loved and miss the "Ray" era of achievement hunter so much, I'm not writing all of this to claim that they've absolutely gone downhill ever since he left. Of course for me, there is a huge difference between the AH that we have now and the AH that we have then, especially in terms of the content produced and the humor that they delivered. but in the end, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and I just really want to share what's on my mind. :) P.P.S. sorry for my bad english & grammar, i'm not a merry can
