I am restarting in my hardcore world! Picking out a fresh new spot and updating to minecraft 1.21. In this episode we find a winter village, surrounded by ice and polar bears. We explore the area, build a starter house and get some new wolf friends.
World seed: Geminitayisgood or 809371870
My starter house is at X-550 Z-660
Just to be clear, this is the exact same world with the pink village in it, we will return there, i just wanted a fun new adventure for summer break! This is technically episode 14 :D

As somebody who's built in a lot of snow biomes it's really fun building because you have to take the snow into account. In the custom village I built I have a covered pathway that goes around the village that has lanterns hanging from it. It looks really nice at night

I know. It's weird though. During the intro, she says she kept the same world. But during the actual video it's c like she didn't. I don't know if I'm being stupid or something though lol

@@kokomelon6707it’s the same world but so far away from the original village and she’s starting over. But once she completes a raid, she’ll allow herself to travel back to the og village and use both

i love love love when people restart in their hardcore worlds. It makes the entire world feel more lived in, which is fun. The idea that you connect them with paths is also very fun. Love the dogs and paintings too

This video is such a vibe! I always love the new start to a series, but with the idea of a future connection to the old one it’s even better! And I love the chill music just playing in the background, the gentle snowfall, etc.

I LOVE the format of starting new! I had a few ideas for this village: coal mine in the cave(minecart tracks), and the food source could be the winter resistant crops (that you found in the chests) like potato and beetroot. Maybe a greenhouse with carrots could combine to make a rabbit stew??

an idea for the bells you could maybe do a jingle bell tree because there are so many bells and you could make the tree kinda look luke a Christmas tree because its always winter in the biome!

Nice build! 😁 Could use a bit more variety of materials, yeah, but not bad for a starter build. The new Tuff blocks and some acacia logs should help you with adding texture to the tower later. Once you get silk touch some brown mushroom blocks along with maybe some packed mud and mud bricks can help with the other walls. I feel a bit of mangrove might be nice too. 🤔 The touch of red would be a warm pop of color to contrast all the cold around it. 😉👍🏼 BTW, the villagers in the painting are totally judging you. 😂

you can waterlog slabs and they wont freeze and they count as a full water block

Glad you kept the world and just moved somewhere new within it. I think the village needs a wall to protect it though, and that chasm needs to be tamed with a subterranean outpost.

I am looking forward to season 2 and glad you are keeping the same world. It would be cool if you reset your achievements for season 2. At least the early game ones. But I understand if that could ruin your stats in this world. And it would be sick if you made a castle on top of the mountain.

in your previous village you collected all the cat variants for the advancement, but in 1.21 theres a new advancement for collecting all the wolf variants, and it would be so cool to see you complete that in this sieris

Gem mentioned that the village could possibly have a coal mine with all the coal she found, and then later found a hole in the middle of the village. I feel making that the coal mine would be a cool idea. Also love the snowy vibes!

Never tried to play along with somebody I'm watching before, but I really liked that geode in the chasm so I used your seed for my own hardcore and I'm setting up shop.
