Anytime the editor put the question marks next to anything that BDG said, it made me laugh so hard. He says just the most nonsensical things with the most confidence.

I thought the bird with stilts was supposed to be a plague doctor, and the rat was what carried the plague, and I made the connection that disease=doctor but I guess the actual justification made a little sense

Lmao, the thing about Mysterium is, the ghost usually has less time to think about each card (because they have to hand out cards to EVERYONE while each player only has to focus on a few), so the mediums usually read way further into it than the ghost does. I'm almost always the ghost, and one of the worst games I've played was with a table full of English majors. They analyzed every square centimeter. It took all night. They did not win.

I played this last night with my family, and it was a riot. Every single one of us had thematic person-place-weapon sets. I was done by the third hour. The best part? The murderer was a nun, who killed the person with a damn ouija board.

This absolutely made my night and my life and yes. Thank you it was wonderful (although not allowing Simone to speak is, I would argue, cruel and unusual but it did mean we got extra expressions!). Anyway. I really want to play this game now!

Watching Simone not being allowed to talk for 30 minutes was a torturous experience. I guess I'll just binge watch SEO play now.

"Tale as old as time, like a typewriter" - Typewriters are old-fashioned, and can be used to type a story. "A driver's worst enemy is stilts" - Stilts are a rival form of transportation to cars.

I watched this immediately after One Night Ultimate Werewolf and it felt like I'd been conditioned to distrust everything Brian said. That made the first couple of minutes very interesting.

I love playing this game, previously whenever I've been ghost I've been reaching over to do all the movements for correct/false stuff, but I love the knocking concept and letting the players do it. The only downside to this game is it takes quite a while to set up with the multiple pieces and card decks so it tends to put off groups from playing it.

Oh my god, I have seen so many different board games being played on so many different channels and this is the first one that I had actually played beforehand. Me and my family used to play this all the time during the pandemic, after we got bored of clue. That makes me weirdly happy honestly
