1) Coins help balance trades so that you aren't needlessly over-selling materials. 2) Redundancy in your base is good in case you lose a connection. 3) If your power goes down, everything else goes down, and it's one of the fastest ways to get your colonists killed. 4) You may not have noticed that during a sandstorm, your colonists lose health, while your robots degrade exponentially. It is recommended to build a command center, which can send out ALERTS to keep your colonists safe.
Perhaps it's a UI problem, but a lot of youtubers seem to be getting confused about why their buildings are not getting build. And that is because the UI shows materials until they are actually consumed. Like at 18:51 yes it's showing you have 2, but those are the 2 green boxes already waiting in there. Ps. this is an obervation, not a complaint. I know this is 1 month old video and and by now you likely have figured it out. Just something I noticed in general.
I cap pop at 30. Heres a high security pattern. LANDING PAD/AIRLOCK/GUARDROOM/STORAGE/ect,ect . I don't allow visitors until AFTER I have 10 armed guards sitting in the guardroom. The airlock is adjacent to the guards so when hostiles intrude, the guards take them out quickly.
The part you were missing is that when you select a building to be constructed you can actually increase the size of the building by scrolling back the centre mouse button.
i just recently found you out of sheer coincidence.. first i saw was your blueprint tycoon series.. and man.. you need way more subs boi. keep it up i love your gamestyle and way of conmenting.. have a mancrush on your voice heh greets from Germany!
Thanks for making these vids, they hooked me on this game. I even stuck a windows partition on my mac so I can play it now instead of waiting for them to release it for mac's :-) now to find time to sleep lol.
First step. Done. self- insight Next step. improving. Learning by doing and thinking. You place your mine everytime on the other site from the base of your entrance. They run every time outside from 1 sight to the other side from the base for mining. Next what i have seen but what you have improved. It looks like you lose energy when you overpower a grid. Next step would be to place your the stockpile in middle and build like a chain for every prudction line. When you love base building games and have nothing against thinking in a game, try Big Pharma, nice little cheap game but with a big depth.
