I just finished the 8th a few moments ago and I've loved the playthroughs so far! Keep 'em coming :)

I played this game when i was very young... and the skeletons made my fear for Myst. Every time i play Myst now i am always scared... and the feeling just increases the play value of this game serie. Love your LP so far aswell.

Achanar's just bat-shit insane, but Sirius is the one who's more "evil" with his scheming greed and all.

@feh2 The sky isn't stormy so somone probably killed the pirates. It was probably Sirrus and Achanar.

4:00 lol @ more wrestling Your needlessly detailed descriptions of the symbols are fantastic. The moon over the mountains... and then half a pizza! mmm I love Achenar. I mean, he doesn't hide the fact he's crazy. He just leaves crazy shit all over his rooms and everyone else can just deal with it. Plus, his handwriting is awesome. You gotta respect that. I always somehow forget you laugh at him during this part and it's a pleasant surprise every time :P

@Microsoftultimatefan. It was an invasion, some guys invaded the land when it wasn't covered in water: The fortress is build on the top of an crater... if i remember correctly so its still surfaced, the hanged guy is probaly one of the invaders. Just my guess...

@Sailor11Sedna Yeah, it's weird how it's the INSANE one that becomes good in the 4th game.

I prefer Achanar. Sirius is more deceptive, but Achanar has that twisted torturer mentality.

@Dojan5 I say deep-sky-blue is kool, futuristic-y, and pretty. (Because it is the same color as the sky.)

In the real ENDING (MYST IV) Achanar is the good guy.

Has anyone ever used the linking book sound as a ringtone for their iPhone or their t mobile phone ?

yay! i actually knew about the skeleton! it took me forever to get the fortress rotation right because the game jammed up whenever i looked at the simulator in Achenar's room. :p is it just me, or does Achenar seem like he *really* needs to go pee?

For some reason when i open the book and go back to myst island, it starts loading but when its finished loading, the game stops. So i can't continue D:

@MetalGearRaxis Not only that but Sirrus goes as far as harming his own sister in one of the other games.

Do the gems in the nice side play roll later on?

funny you called Sirrus over dramatic, i like him better than Achanar, though I like the name Achanar better.I kinda wish the actor for Sirrus could have been Sirrus in Revlations because I love his voice, he sound perfectly coniving.

You think it's important to have read the books before beggining the Myst games? I ask coz' it looks like they've not been translated into a lot of tongues, so I'd have to read them in Shakespeare's poor man version of german :D It would be worth it, though

Sirrus seems a lot nicer than Achenar, but still, his "greed" worries me. I say red is nice and cozy and blue is cold and harsh. o.o Go with Sirrus and not Achenar xP

It seems like Sirrus is making love to you as he's speaking. Kinda creeps me out.

These bones were a lot more creepy in the original. This one looks too fake. The original looks more real.
