Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch. On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.

Imma add something to the pity discussion, R1999's banner system at a baseline is actually a lot more forgiving than in genshin. Comparing daily "primo" income, Genshin gives 60/160 needed for a pull (150/160 for welkin) but R1999 gives 90/180 (180/180 + stamina refresh for roaring) so you are guaranteed to get 1 (or 2) pulls every 2 days whereas there is going to be an off day for genshin. On top of that, the increase from genshin's 0.6% legendary pull rate to 1.5% in R1999 makes it so that you are significantly more likely to get at least 1 6 star pull that is early while costing less pulls overall from genshin at 36% in 74 pulls to R1999's 60% in 60 pulls. Of course this is not looking at rewards that you get from story, events, and the "abyss" mode of this game (gonna have to wait for future patches to determine that) but the gacha rates here are definitely better at a baseline.

I would absolutely love it if you did continue the game. As others might have already said, the gameplay might not be for everyone but it seems like you guys enjoyed it. I honestly solely want to see you continue the game just for the story. There are some very very sad moments which I would like to see your reaction to. In my experience, the gacha has been quite nice. I have two 6* characters, A Knight and Eternity. I already have Knight's artifice/constellation at 1 despite being f2p. I did however summon through the beginner banner. Also my favourite character in the game would be Eternity. Lastly, I enjoyed Daniel's *noises* when you guys spun the wheel.

2:26:25 i really like his looks, idk if anyone said something already but he speaks russian, the name is writen in kiriliza not latin, it starts with Z - so call him Zima, in my lang. means literaly "winter"

Glad you guys tried this game. I hope you guys continue it, at least until you see all the gameplay stuff they are offering. See which characters there are that you're gonna get. Its not the best out there but it is an interesting game. The story is quite good but it will take time make sense 😅

Btw, there is a new trailer they released for their v1.1. If you guys are wondering if theres gonna be a story spoiler or spoiler of any kind, no there isnt any. They are just showing the new banners and events 👍

Fyi on how the character arts look different when you click it it's because they showed you an insight 3 art that why it's different This is same as Arknight where you get a normal art and then you will get more nicer art for the character you level up This game UI, the gacha and overall character management mechanic is really similar with arknight which is OK in Arknight but idk for this game so far

It's just like genshin with pulls, if the 6 star character isn't the rate up then your next 6 star character is guaranteed to be. I have pulled Knight twice he is awesome and good for reality team, the knights banner is also imo the best banner to pull on because the 5 stars are also really good especially Bkornblume she is the best support for reality team. Both Sotherby and Charlie aren't really beginner friendly until you get them insight 3 so I skipped them. Both Knight and Sotherby are in all banners so it's your choice.

A quick review based on personal opinions: Okay, I don't know if it's the lack of boundary lines, the pastel colors, the slim font, or something else, but the UI is so physically tiring for my eyes. My head hurts now after 2 hrs in 😅 As for the story so far, I don't know what to say but that the vibes fit with the settings? The gameplay seems uhh, so-so? It isn't bad, but also doesn't seem very friendly.. I do really like the variety in accents tho. It means they have great attention to details and budget to hire fitting VAs. The music is good too! Overall, I wouldn't play it myself as I don't feel the urge to explore the lore and gameplay is still a lot to be desired, but I don't mind watching once in a while. === I only spend money on games which I have very strong conviction to stay until its end of service. I've done it before so it's a good rule to follow no?
