someone told me that you can recruit Perseus but i can never seem too. am i missing something? or is Pan the reason because of those Virtue spells?

I'm _told_ that you can recruit Perseus instead of Medusa if, during the boss fight against Medusa, when she drops the statue you attack _her_ instead of the statue. This leads to Medusa dying instead of becoming Human again, and Perseus joining the Argonauts in her place.

I'm pretty sure that you need to kill Medusa to recruit Perseus.
