The cryo lab is one of the more common repeat POI's. On the upside, it's a well designed dungeon with multiple paths through it. And you can absolutely go down a skill path that will let you modify and improve your weapons. It's grindy to max it out, but it's there.
Yay! Most useful power in the game - finally! Favorite it! In addition to running while over encumbered I’m at a point where my Aid is nothing but Med packs, Trauma packs, and Panaceas. Personal Atmo cancels the oxygen drain. Don’t worry, the bartender can take your contraband off your hands.
Somebody should come out with a mod that works alongside shielded cargo, such as more smuggling missions.. like if you were to acquire your first shielded cargo ship or install your first shielded cargo bay, or pick up a piece of contraband it would activate a quest that would lead you to somebody that basically becomes your contact, for smuggling missions.
Oh neat! One can activate quest markers for more than one quest at a time. I was worried this game didn't have that. I dislike it when games only let quest markers be visible for one quest at a time. It's extra tedious when one plays like me -- I never fast travel (except when the game forces me to). This means that sometimes I leave a place, walk for 20 real-life minutes to another place, only to realise I could have turned in a quest at the location I was just in. If the game had allowed me to view all quests at the same time, I would have noticed the multiple markers.
I just read a tip for SF that I didn't know about which you may or may not know about either...and, I'm not following along yet, but at 44:45 it doesn't appear that you know, but I wasn't listening so I could be wrong...and also, this is not intuitive because, WHO HITS THE ALT-TAB IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT IN USE? ***While in the star-map, if you hit ALT, it will show you the names of every star in the galaxy. Apparently. And, not sure if it was just stars, but planets as well because I can't find that article again.
