This anomaly is guaranteed to be on mars. Selecting Sol as the starting system guarantees you a second (small) planet in your homesystem.

Well, either that or "You are a danger to your species so we are going to put you and your species under house arrest and watch you 24/7 to make sure you never do anything dangerous." but that's usually only if they have a rule that prevents them from harming humans.

But do jack against shields. Mass drivers are fast, tear through shields, and don't lose energy over long distances. Much more logical.

Taking bets on if he will go over 30 episodes and actually reach the midgame for once, never mind the endgame. I mean the game is finally in a state where it has those things.

His previous series actually made it 95% thru midgame if you define late game as beginning when the crisis hits. There were commenters who mentioned that at the game date he stopped at that if he hadn't conquered one of the only two fallen empires that the war in heaven crises could have started by then, but the only valid crises left had a later start date.

I've never noticed it until now but, the Round symbol, fourth from the left at the very bottom. For a second I thought I was looking at the glyph for the Mantle of Responsibility from Halo..

Love the frequent dlc and patches for Stellaris, but it always puts a pause in my playtime. Because i just cant play without some of the mods until they are updated. More ships, traits, traditions, star types, event mechanics, weapons, planet traits, colonization events etc etc. And there's a non-SyntheticDawn required mod that adds animated portraits for, yes, space mecha-dinosaurs.

GOD i want the Advisor Voice feature to be in the free patch. I am not really interested in playing as synthetics, but i'd love the variation in advisor voices depending on your government. But 9.99 for just that, maybe not such a great deal.

I always always choose the "Resettlement cost +25/50%" trait for literally all my species in all my games of Stellaris. It is the given choice for a free trait point for practically no downside. Unless you play democratic civs, but i always play authoritarian and resettling is something i almost never do except in very rare circumstances. Its just kinda weird how resettle costs are considered as important as -25% build speed or -10% minerals for example, which is absolutely huge penalties that affect Eeeverything you do in the game.

Why is nobody talking about how incredibly, ridiculously overpowered synthetic/robot species are? Immortal and can inhabit any planet... ? Very little to any downside ? Amazing civics?

demonsbanenathan .... You have to spend a insane amount to build a single unit.... Not as good in the early game when recources are sparce... You can get alot of planets but you can't utilize them....

That change is part of the patch which may not be ready yet.

Also, I believe that the anomaly was 'Mars is a terraforming candidate'. I'd be surprised if they made those or the precursor ones able to fail.

shiwanabe is right, it's this special case scenario of Mars. Regarding the patch, he obviously has to have the paradox-intern beta patch as well, otherwise SD wouldn't be playable at all. Edit: Look at the start of the video, it says "version Capek v1.8.0"

i hate those robotic fleets, even if i have superior fleet numbers/fleet power ( even at a ratio of 2 to 1 ) i still loose at least 10 ships in every battle :/ Worse part is those fallen empires became awakend and now i regret not managing my relations better with them. Oh well
