I just finished part 2 and then this got posted. Made my day Quill. You gotta stop influencing the vote when you don't need to though! You don't have to win every vote in a landslide.

I feel like threatening the party that has a 66% majority really shouldn't be as effective as it is in this game. If anything, I would think threatening the FDP while they have total control would just cause them to go "Oh yeah, well, fuck you too, guy" and cause them to vote down whatever you're trying to get passed.

We need more of this game.

I like how you can bundle different proposals all into a single vote. "You guys really, really, really want gas infrastructure put into place in the city? I guess you won't mind if I try to get this clinic in as well then..."

I have only watched the three parts of Urban Empire that you have uploaded yet and I think I am already addicted. I can already after one day feel the abstinence! I need more!

the big edicts (don't remember the name) like "limited liability companies" increases demand the for your diffrent your wheel of life needs. Also gives a temporary boost to the wheel of life, this boost is idependent of services and will drop out of effect after awhile. You observed this when fun and physical went down. your economy skyrocketed because this sudden temporary boost. Since The Wheel of life affects the happiness of your citizens and diffrent citizens have diffrent effects on the industry. some increase quality and other sales. after the boost your businesses could finally make some sales. the red skull sign you see poping up is a sign of the businesses going bankrupt. the green cash signes implies that a new store opens. for me it seems your business can't survive because of taxes (to high personal taxes decrases buying power, business tax harder to employ citizens)

Waiting for these to come out is an exercise in patience that I'm failing daily.

I find this game very fun and entertaining, keep playing!

HCI tells you if you have a disproportionate amount of housing, commercial, or industrial buildings it doesn't tell you if a new district is a good idea or not. So Build build build!

My brother who went to study in München(Munich) last year could have taken a flat off a students- association (or something like that) and one requirement for him to get it would have been to join such a students-duel-club.

Getting very interested in this game, it's a very original take on a city manager. Not a builder like Skylines, nor a production chain manager like the Annos. Will be keeping an eye on this, it has potential. Though I will wait until release and then a bit to see if it runs as well as it should.

I know this is late, but you could pause while you do the small rambles so the timer on the blue stars doesn't run out.

I love this series and it have open an intrset of buying the game. But I want to see more to get a final conclusion. I love this with lets play to see the "honest" of the game from another persons perpective. Btw love your channel in general.

You really need to upgrade the roads, quill, you can see by clicking on the buildings that under services that some of them don't have road access.

The reason you are losing money, is because your taxes are too high so people aren't willing to move in, lower taxes by a little bit and see the people flocking to Quillopolis and your profit skyrocket!!

I don't know, it looks to me more like "Urban Politics" because 80% of the time you have to be in the council window appeasing political parties to please let you build your city.

The budget really goes up and down with every month without a clear reason for it, where do these fluctuations come from? Do you have a more clear budget screen?

I find this very confusing but just to note, things that INCREASE sales demand actually HURT sales, and things that DECREASE sales demand actually HELP sales. So basically it is backwards from what you say in the video.

So are you only half finished with the tech that youve selected, cause theres a green bar around the ones youve learned but its only going half way around?

Quill, Sales Demand is negative. It means a business will need to sell that much more in order to strike a profit.

Increase in sales demand probably mean that businesses that sell alcohol need 5% more sales to be profitable .

i dont understand the point of this game. you need to vote on things, but you can force the votes to end up the way you want. so what is the point?

not sure about the choice of icons that come from the houses when you clicked "thirst for learning" looks a bit suspect.......

Your folk not happy can you build some taverns or any fun stuff, it helps you boost population if your city happy

It could be cool if protests/demonstrations/riots could occur, and infighting between the different districts if things go really, really downhill. ^^

is there a way to *not* do grids? Never liked them in city builder games, they always looked and felt very boring and uncreative.
