Also in Brooke's defense, stopping a lead player's momentum is a valid strategy. She couldn't effectively ruin Laurie's because he wasn't wanted. Playing Wanted is higher risk and higher reward for this very reason.
"NO BROOKE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT! YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT BROOKE! WHHHHHY? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS IN A SMUG WAY, LIKE WE'VEEEE WRONGED YOU? "YOU'VE ONLY WRONGED US! WHHHHY BROOKE?" That meltdown might just have replaced Sully's reveal from Deception Murder in Hong Kong as my favourite NRB quote. Brooke's relentless anarchy was marvellous. Sullivan's rage was side splittingly hilarious. Laurie's restrained delight at the whole exchange is joyful. Love love love it.
At 52:38, Adam is winning this easily, and I'm wondering what they will be doing for the next hour. Then Wild Bill Hiccup became the legend that will live on long after this game!
Sully Forever. But I'm also a huge fan of Laurie as the marshal. He really enjoys himself when he's allowed to be openly antagonistic and I fully support this.
1:27:19 "Why you wid me, Wil' Bill?" The beginning of the most epic rant I've ever seen online. I got a sense recently that this was a channel I could get into, and that locked it in for me. Some of the most entertaining game plays since TableTop. Bravo, folks.
Wild Bill Hiccup is going down into Board Game Club history after this. Might have been last in the game, but they're the true legend at the end of it all
Normally, what brooke did would get me to be annoyed But I genuinely couldnt breathe with how much I was laughing I WAS ROOTING FOR SULLY ALL ALONG AND I FELT SO SAD BUT IT WAS SO FUNNY
It’s now in my head cannon that Wild Bill went to rob the bank but hiccuped and shot Billy The Kid instead who just so happened to be there with Jesse James
Yep. And the gunshot at the bank caused the sheriff to come and take a look. And upon seeing and easily arresting one of the criminals, decided immediately go back and get another criminal.
I have to say one of the sweetest and most romantic things is the way Sully knows Brooke so well that he knows exactly when she is going to do something that people are begging her not too haha!
Wild Bill was Wyatt’s crazed partner, Laurie still gets the win because his story was the most legendary, but Brooke was such an interesting side character in his story that they get to be just as remembered
I'm convinced that Wild Bill Hiccup caught Mad Cow Disease from that cow in his pocket which explains the mad and whacky behaviour. I laughed so hard at this episode
I cry laughed so hard it made my 18 month old nephew worried about me, but hell watching this was definitely worth the time spent calming him down afterwards. I haven't laughed quite this hard in quite some time. And I think I could taste the rage from Adam and Sully by the end, this episode is a must watch, and one that I will be coming back to watch many many many times in the future
I do love the Juxtaposition of the way this game went one half is a simple story of winning the other of petty revenge and I laughed and laughed and LAUGHED
So good to see Laurie get to play a game and fully enjoy himself and to see him win is an added plus! Brooke made this playthrough so entertaining and so fun to watch!!! This is an awesome game!
I am watching all the eps completely out of order but I did not know that Adam's attempts on stealing Sully from Brooke has a... villain origin story I guess? 🤣 And Laurie stating completely dryly "It was pretty unmecessary to be fair" took me out.
Fun fact: Wild Bill Huccup was also the name of the giant in an old west themed version of Jack and the Beanstalk called Jack and the Giant: A Story Full Of Beans. It's one of my son's favorite books and the art is fantastic!
Missed this video when it initially aired, and having little love for western genre stuff, I let it pass me by for.... 9 months, damn. I both regret, and love that, cause it was just the right kind of madness to get me in stitches. Long live Bill Hiccup, Long live Brooke.
So did Laurie really know Wild Wild West rap at the drop of a (cowboy) hat? If so, we must make sure he and Andy Farrant are never in the same room, or they will certainly spontaneously reenact the whole movie... Or does that mean we should bring them together?
Oh my, I so feel for Adam and Sully so hard with how Brooke messed them up. It was SO entertaining, but I do feel bad for both of them. She really had it out for them!
1:24:00 reminds me of an interaction in an old Gmod video Seananners: I’m here to make a deposit, I mean a withdrawl Gassy Mexican: Confused Seananners: shoots him
Having now binged so many of these episodes, this video may not have been the best played but it is on my personal Mt. Rushmore of funniest videos I have ever seen. The absolute carnage of that one player had over the entire episode is the best villain origin story ever told.
I've been watching almost all there videos for the past week while on vacation. What a great channel. I couldn't stop laughing during this episode because yet again, Laurie takes the calm simple approach and wins. Sully references this tactic in a lot of the videos and yet again it's pulled off. Meanwhile Brooke being the classic villain. I can promise you our house table would have been flipped with those moves. Good job Brooke! All of your team is amazing. Laurie your my favorite!
Fun fact: I grew up in the city (Northfield, MN) that ended the James-Younger Gang when they tried to rob the First National Bank and failed. Short overview: the bank cashier refused to open the vault for them and during that time locals noticed that there was a robbery happening. "Get your guns boys, they're robbing the bank!" is one of our town slogans - it's what the hardware store owner yelled when he figured out what was happening. There was a big shoot-out, a few of the gang were killed there, a few others were caught in another Minnesota town and only Frank and Jesse James escaped (they continued on as outlaws, tried to build a gang back up, but Jesse was killed a few years later and Frank surrendered, spent barely any time in jail, was acquitted and lived to be pretty old). The First National Bank cashier (Joseph Lee Heywood) was killed, a Swedish immigrant was killed (I can't remember his name) and the bank teller (Alonzo Bunker) was injured as he fled the bank. We have a yearly celebration to mark the occasion called "The Defeat of Jesse James Days" where we have reenactments of the failed bank robbery at the very place it happened - the bank is now a Museum and houses the Northfield Historical Society. There's also fair rides, food carts, an art show, parade, rodeo, and a handful of plays/musicals that have to do with the robbery and the James-Younger Gang. We also at least used to do a historically accurate (to the late 1800s which was when the failed robbery happened) baseball game, but the only time I knew anything about it was when I was asked to replace someone and it got cancelled anyway due to an overheating risk (it was over 100 and sunny - absolute death in those old clothes).
IM from Ashley Indiana and for the longest time we had a restuarant called Dillingers because it was the location where John Dillinger and his gang hung out
Ive been browsing the channel alot while waiting for new content and the pacing of the videos gets so much better the more recent they are! Its nice to see the improvement in editing and pacing :)
I when into f*cking downward dog crying with laughter from this one🤣🤣🤣 I love this channel so much I’m so glad y’all were randomly recommended to me by the algorithm 💕
Not the biggest fan of western games but something about this game, intrigues me. Maybe it's the sandbox, maybe it's the mid game poker mechanic, or maybe it's just the awesome people playing, but I need this! Too bad everywhere I look, I run into the 3 most devastating words in all board game entertainment *Out of Stock*
Been incredibly busy these past few months and I'm making an effort to watch all these back. Happy to see this channel getting the traction it's gotten!
Love this game and the video! So much fun! Also, if you plan to play it again in the future, you may find your poker playin’ more fruitful if you remember to draw your free 1 poker card at the beginning of a gamblin’ poker action. Beware the Aces & Eights, Wild Bill! 😜

In Brooke's turn at 53:04 I don't think she got the award for rustling the cattle. She got the 1 LP for the Rustle option but the token said "gain 1 LP or 1 Marshall". Adam was talking while she was reading out the token reward and I think that in the confusion she thought the 1 LP Rustle award was for the token. May have missed it, if it happened off camera. Was trying to learn and following along but maybe I misinterpreted the rules. Not sure she really did get her poker card either for the Wanted Track move.
This is truly awesome! Please consider playing Mansions of Madness one day. It’s the only Board Game Masterpiece that hasn’t hit the table yet. Please please please :)
