I’m really enjoying this theme of either “games that seem pervy but are actually great/empowering” or “games that seem empowering but have epically missed the mark”. It makes for amazing commentary on both your parts.

Fun fact! An old band of mine was approached to have one of their songs used in Wet. Then they didn't use it and then I was sad.

So happy to see this. This will always be a favourite of mine, from Rubi's character and personality, to the gameplay, to the BADASS SOUNDTRACK. truly a great game.

I know it is on the original Xbox but I would LOVE to see Aoife and Johnny play Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Chaos bleeds. I don’t care if you have both played them before, or don’t own the game or console. I know it would be epic, so it happen!😁 Cheers and much love for Colorado 💙

Love LTTP, I played WET for the first time about 4 years ago and had fun. Also the film effect can be turned off.

I played this, but all I remember of “Wet” now is Jeff Gerstmann’s story of being in London for this game’s press event, over-loading on sugar and energy drinks in his hotel room, and briefly deducing the rules of cricket.

I remember seeing a trailer for this game and it looked so great, but there was no PC version, so I've never played it. Now I know that I didn't miss much.

I remember fondly of this game. It was one of my first Xbox games I bought when I got my 360.

This was all great but the last 15 minutes where they just lose the plot are really bloody great.

back in 2010 when first bought my xbox 360 this one first games I picked up this feels like flash memory for me just forgot about it till right now

When I saw this game I didn't take it seriously because of the title, but if I knew it was my favourite slayer/murderer crossed with the pill poppin' grimaced faced detective I my have reconsidered & given it a chance. Faith > Buffy

Wonder if the game would have been more enjoyable had you guys started out with a few shots of tequila beforehand? It was still quite entertaining, and love the banter between you two.

Holy hell I remember seeing this game at a video store and renting it (yes, rented it, back in the day) because of the box art... that’s a poor choice of words considering the name of the game... anyway, I totally forgot about it until watching this... NOSTALGIA !!!

Sixty minutes of making jokes and then being uncomfortable about those jokes. Love it.

Aoife's reason for playing this game is literally the best lol. Its actually an awesome game I super enjoyed playing it. when it came out I was massively into Buffy (still am) and the fact "faith" was the main character I had to buy it regardless of its name lol.

@Johnny, humide is similar to damp. The way i know Wet in french is mouillé. This is the easiest way i can say to pronounce it: mwe-eh (Say "moo" followed by "we" but mash them together with less "moo". May be best to just google it lol)

I loved the game Wet, when it came out. The stories a wee bit janky and it had cool villains that arent around much. I think its worthy of a updated sequal.

I got 1000/1000 on this, very fun hack and shoot with a real individual style for the time. Badass soundtrack too.

I just recently started watching this channel but saying horrible things with a nice British accent is really up may alley. This game crashing right after the tutorial perfectly represents that entire game experience.

I lost it when this game came out because it had Eliza Dushku as the main characters voice. I was always torn as a kid between crushes with Buffy and Faith ( I say kid but I'm still torn).

Dollhouse really doesn't start to ramp up until the end of the first season.

First Late To The Party that's made me actually nervous when I first saw it, because I'm ashamed to admit I actually enjoy this game. The gameplay parts anyway. The constant tutorialising and the car sections are organic bullshit on chips, but the acrobatic gunplay is a lot of fun. Sometimes you just want a mindless gaming experience you don't want to think about too much, y'know? Although you have to adjust the aim sensitivity right off the bat before you can reliably aim at anything. Oh and there's a sequence where you're falling out of a plane that's just terrible. But aside from that...

I remember not finishing this game...I think I missed or didn't understand the bit about destroying the spawners at first, so I spent a lot longer in that area doing acrobatics, etc. I do know I got to her home/base, but I think the forced trials made me turn it off.

Please tell me one of you have never played Timesplitters 2... I would to see a LTTP of that classic. If you do, you have to play the multiplayer with bots enabled though.

Ok got to 48. Yep. JC. You need to watch Dollhouse beyond episode 2. It got infinitely better when Whedon was allowed to do what he intended.

this reminds me of Bloodrayne with the outrageous combat, but Bloodrayne has armblades!

I actually found this game fun, for a bargain bin purchase. Story was meh and certain assault courses were annoying, but generally it was an amusing pulpy shooter. Came closer to being proper Max Payne than Rockstar's attempt did.

I played this. It kinda stinks, at least on a first play through. When you replay it (I know you won't) the game becomes very good. On a second play through you have all the skill, knowledge and abilities to chain combo through entire levels. It mirrors the learning curve of something like Tony Hawk's, as if the first play through is your training. Obviously a desisgn flaw but still there's an 8 out of 10 game hidden behind a 5 out of 10 one. The blood rage stages are cool AF.

Well, a websearch of "Eliza Dushku" confirms it. I'm either really out of touch, or your references are becoming more obscure (most likely, it's the former) as I still have no idea who that is. Making me feel pretty old here, Eurogamer.

You guys should do a LTTP on Lords of Magic from about 1995, it holds up better than this!

Sorry but i can't watch this. The weird constant effect on screen is killing me. If it was just the cutscenes it would not be an issue. The fact that it's even in the normal gameplay makes my brain melt.

I remember playing through this on release, it was tedious and janky as fuck. I had much more fun playing John Wu's Stranglehold and the Max Payne series.

This game looks like decent quality trashy fun. Is it on Steam?
