Thanks, Stasia. This one can really be a challenge. Afaik you can master it at some point in time (to some extent), but I am nowhere near :-)

This is the first time I've seen an Yggdrasil gameplay video. I like the way tokens are drawn, and how they can be returned to other bags later - I've always been a fan of chit-pull and bag-building mechanics. I don't know why but I get a kind of "Ghost Stories" vibe from this, though it's obviously completely different ... maybe I have low blood sugar or something? 😂

Not a big deal, the game is just 13 years old or so ;-) And 100% agreed - I really like a good chit pull mechanic!

I have an old edition sealed copy. I’ve been debating playing, but I know how difficult it is. (I also had the app)

If you are not sure, suggest to keep it sealed - might be worth a fortune :-D

@@realjplay true, that is why I kept it in shrink, but games are meant to be played, too. I will have to decide in the future.

No, I didn’t. I saw it in Essen the year it came out, but haven’t played it. How different/similar is it?

@@realjplay It gets rid of the bag building, which is a lost in my opinion. But the 3d tree and the story bits I do enjoy a lot. It's probably has more replayability than the normal Yggdrasil one with a story to playthrough. I do enjoy both and think that the original one with the Asgard expansion and the passive player powers helps a lot.

@MDEFLO I really like the „bagbuilding“ mechanic (also a huge fan of „Orléans“) but I agree that the theme doesn’t really come through in the original game.
