I actually managed to walk the entire way....the. entire. way. Never sunk. Never triggered B.T.s. Just slowly walked the entire way through the tar belt until I met Amelie
Games like this don't sell well. People want their trash games while they call this a walking simulator and refuse to even try it. Same with movies. The masses don't appreciate art. They love their rushed, heavily monetized AAA fodder like CoD.
This was such a fun revelation when I played. I had just read the Interview mails about how it was old landscapes popping up and how there was apparently a porter who escaped BTs using them, so when I saw the BTs spawn there it just clicked. Especially since one was just chillin' in the water where you can't sneak.

my first reaction was pull out my anti bt guns fun fact i killed 3 then it came to mind that they respawn so i soon realized i had to use the buildings to cross the tar belt but i died before i could cross it so i just walked on the edge of the voidout lol

I know you already did one with the first encounter and jumpscare- but can you do reaction to the Ayuwoki in rage mode/ayuwoki's lifeless body in chapter 2 encounter?
I didn't even know that I was supposed to get caught, I just did because I wanted more chiral crystals. Also having the speed skeleton was great because you can jump over 20ft between buildings if you hold down the jump button.
DS's gameplay _isn't_ good. It's deliberately tedious and clunky, and just because it's intentional doesn't mean it isn't bad. Artsy, eccentric people have a habit of doing stuff like that. You can't make something unfun to play and say; _"No, it isn't bad, it's supposed to be that way."_ That just means it's bad on purpose. I don't think the whole game is bad, but the gameplay is deliberately not fun, and video games are supposed to be fun. The fact that some people enjoyed it doesn't mean it isn't bad either. I enjoyed parts of Two Worlds, many years ago, and that game is infamously horrible.

I just personally like it.
@@saulhernnadez9203 Yeah calling his one a "Reaction" to it, is rich. You could swap out his footage to that moment with any other and just edit the screen to show the same. You wouldn't notice.
