DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR'S CUT (PS5) Game Difficulty: Very Hard HUD Settings: All Off Order Number: Standard Order No. 153 Order Title: Retrieval: Precious Artworks Lost During Delivery
In a game where 9/10ths of the lore is not fully explained and the central mechanic is literally all about walking and keeping balance with a bunch of stuff on your body to make deliveries, and where a single delivery can range anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour (or longer, depending), this guy basically Evel Knieveled his way through a delivery in six minutes with gadgets most people didn't realize you could unlock. Also that dropkick was insane.
@@blaken2651 Not according to over 90% of the people who played it, the game is certainly not for everyone but almost everyone who did play it, enjoyed it. You can spend the whole game just driving trucks and doing deliveries like it's fucking american truck simulator, or you can expand your options and make the whole experience way more dynamic with the borderline overwhelming amount of options the game gives you. The only limiting factor is your own brain, and well, patience to actually unlock said options lol
@ Theres remote detonate blood grenades that you can stick anywhere and then activate whenever. So here, whenever they get close to the BT, they just activate the nade attached to the bike and it either kills or stuns the BT as you go by.
Could you explain to me how this game is fun? I am curious, I don't understand how people can play this game. All you do is running around delivering stuff like wtf
OMG, this is by far the most impressive thing I've seen done in DS. Just started playing the Directors Cut a couple of days ago this just gave me more hype to play again. Freaking awesome vid 🔥
@@pegetaif they do make a part 2 I really hope they make it more interesting. I doubt they ever will honestly because it doesn’t seem like the first one really got peoples attention. If it’s not guts all over the screen and mindless rampaging, using magic or something involving shooting then seems like a big chunk of the gaming fan base would deem it boring like they did this game. Granted I am one of them I still did appreciate what the game was about and trying to do. It was beautiful in its own way
What I remember of my time in DS was mostly very quietly walking through empty wilderness (bored). With this, it's constant beeping, weapons, fighting, acrobatics. You can take the fun out of a Kojima game, but you can't take the Kojima out of a Kojima game. Although in my case it may have been a skill issue.
0:44 So the catapult can be used as an artillery, nice 1:20 OK that is insane, a legit superhero kick 1:41 F this guy 2:15 F this guy in particular 3:18 Remote Detonation Grenade used as a suicide bomber, except Sam is immune to his own blood. Nice to know that multiple hematic grenades together don't cause a chain explosion. 5:16 YOU CAN JUMP OVER CITY BARRIERS?!
@@eromsgamer2468 Man, I'm the type of player who appreciates the game in terms of story, gameplay, visual and musical graphic technology and especially the care in creating the scenery, the details. I confess that I did, hahahaha, a lot, THE 3 MAPS. Hours and hours contemplating the beauty of the landscapes inspired by Iceland and of course walking around and collecting lost boxes. This game for me was like a big place where I could relax, listen to good music and go around helping "everyone".
The blood bombs on the package had me absolutely dying with laughter! I've never seen the game played like any of this, but that part was absolutely legendary! Congratulations! よくやった!
@@KevaughanI think he was playing on the directors cut (The improved PS5 version) judging by some of the stuff like the cargo launcher. So it was probably something Kojimbo added in an update to give players more tricks to do after seeing people try it a bunch
Bruh that shit was absolutely nutty, as far as I know (I could be wrong) the drop kicks don’t hone in on enemies, at least not to the degree that it’d have made that trick easy. Dude makes me feel amateurish, & I’ve beaten this game 3 times by now! 😂
I played the same director's cut version of the game with 300 hours gameplay on the same highest difficulty and I never even thought of some of those moves... didn't think it was possible. this guy is a certified gamer 👑
@@Clippers0507 I definitely recommend this game. It has a bit of a slow start and can feel like a walking simulator in the first couple hours (albeit a walking simulator with a bonkers story), but the escalation / evolution of gameplay mechanics is one of the most satisfying I've ever experienced, it becomes so wonderfully free and complex and it just gets better by the hour
@@Clippers0507 Funny I used to always refer to metal gear solid as a walking simulator until I played V, now I just think kojima really understands what a video game is suppose to be
@@Clippers0507 Yeah it was never a walking simulator to begin with, But you kinda have to play with the tools they give you in the sandbox a good deal before getting to things like fabs and ziplines and droids or bloodbombs and other weapons. It fools you into thinking it's a walking simulator in the beginning before of the first missions, where you are traversing terrain for the most part. It was always a bit of a Kojima action game mixed with a survival horror game.
@@sonicx1298 yes. You can always run from them. I’m probably halfway through the game and it just keeps getting better. You also unlock stuff that makes fighting them and BTs easier
I swear this game is like therapy. Plug in headset and just chill as you go make deliveries Edit: Don't mind the neckbeards in the comments. If you like the game then keep on keeping on!
Just enjoy the walking simulator and take in the views every once in a while. I loved the game, but it's not for everyone neither is the story so if you can just use it as a chill delivery man simulator.
this was like a crazy movie scene where the main character knows every move and knows every jump drop, drop kick crazy might consider this game even more now didnt even know you could build like that
