It's nearly done! The big & messy hoarder unit comes to an end, but first we have a bunch more bags to get through. Come along for the adventure, and also to see how I wrap up the loose ends.
This is part 5 of the "Orange Bag Hoarder" locker that I bought for $910 plus fees through an online storage auction website.

That thing you tried to blow into you use it to inhale. I broke some ribs and had to use one to keep from getting pneumonia. I also have asthma and it helps strengthen my lungs

The small silver bowl and spoon made in England is very cool. Early 1900's they were used on formal dinner tables. It was filled with salt. They are silver. I have two myself that are very small as well. $$

19:10 Regency Scanner will only receive radio services that have not switched to the newer frequencies that are digital. If it works, you might get $10 to $20 for it and the CB. They only receive, the grey mic you found goes to a hand held walkie talkie that was prolly a Cal Trans business radio.

Regarding the Manger: some people have learning disabilities they may never conquer. But the Manger can surely find an editor! I could start a business called Manger Management! Another possibility is that English is not the Manger’s first language. English may even be the third or fourth language in this case. I’m not someone who insists on great grammar and spelling from any immigrant-I’ve been taking Spanish classes for years and can’t get past hello and goodbye. I’m a very lazy American citizen who can’t learn another language. If I had to emigrate, I wouldn’t be able to be a Manger in my new country.

back in the day when Ebay auctions did not include pictures, I bought that same mavica to put pictures on my auctions, that was like 24 years ago. I think it cost around 700 and was the biggest investment I ever put into my business, it was really worth it, because it increased my sales considerably. I came across my old mavica a few years ago, and sold it to a neighbor at our garage sale for about 100 bucks!

I worked at newspapers and we started getting digital cameras in the mid nineties. The first one we got could take 7 pictures in low res only good for mug shots. The one you found was leaps and bounds better than that.

The clear plastic thing is NOT broken, it’s an incentive spirometer. And you suck into it. While sucking in you try to keep the little yellow knob on the left in the “best” area. The idea is to keep it up as long as you can!! It’s not as easy as it looks.

The backpack with the yellow "E" on it is a backpack a skate boarder would most likely have cause the pack usually had a place to strap in their skate board when not in use. Etnies is the name of the brand of skater clothing, shoes and accessories geared toward the skate boarder youth. You could always donate it to me, I've been looking for a backpack. Good luck

I'd check how much is donated, because Savers as far as I know is associated with Value Village and they are definitely for profit, with CEOs having huge salaries. I appreciate the thought, but please look into it.

Savers Corp essentially pays pennies a pound for merchandise that the charity they are employing (differs area to area) to collect & solicit donations. They don't give a portion of sales to the charity. Only about 17 cents per dollar goes into the charities pockets. EX: Savers made 1.2 Billion in 2014, a variety of charities received a piece of a total of $200 million from the collection of donations for the use of their services. Savers itself is a for profit corporation.

That Mavica camera takes GREAT pictures. I have one that takes picture on floppy disc. Not sure if that is the one you have or CD. They are pretty collectable. They were defiantly ahead of their time pixel wise. My son collects cameras and has mine now. He still uses it and plays around with it.

Fodder for anyone who ends up in the hospital with breathing problems. I should know, I was a respiratory therapist, back in the day.

Wow...that is a great donation centre...I go to Salvos here in Australia...my local is about 25 mins away from me and the guy is super nice...they have large bins inside and you ust drop the stuff off...I liked their bins and they look organised..

The thing you were breathing through was an incentive spirometer and you actually suppose to suck in air and hold it for at least 3 seconds to make your lungs stronger after surgery. I use to be a nurse.
