I personally found St. Pedro to be the standout for me, but can also see why Jorge did well with viewers.

I feel like the bar for Spain at eurovision is so unfair comparing to other countries tbh... it's impossible to send anything that will please europe. If Italy sent anything like st pedro it would be praised by everyone at europe, but if Spain does it's a dissapointment. I don't get how we can win eurovision again at this point. I don´t usually comment, and I have seen and enjoyed lots of your videos, but after this, it shows that you don´t have much musical criteria since you´ve been throwing hate to St. Pedro the whole video just cause you don't like the song. I feel like not many people don´t understand that is not a ballad but a bolero, so it´s not even the same type of music as the one from Slimane, they´re both slow songs as that´s pretty much it. I´m really rooting for St. Pedro cause he´s my fav, but I would still be happy to send any of the other. Rooting for a song is fine but degrading it this way (which you did) and saying that the Spanish public "flushed their taste down the toilet" is not okay, so let's just have a little respect for each other.♥

I wasn't feeling St. Pedro's song but I loved the performance (of course the choreo needs to slow down), it just feels very polished and professional and far from the clichés that usually go with folk traditional performances

Guys, Jorge's dancebreak was flamenco-inspired. You can't throw yourself to the floor in flamenco! Maybe the cameraman was too far, and maybe the dance could be embelished a bit more, but it is what it is: flamenco!

The jury is composed by 4 members of a international jury and for a 4 members to national jury… so it’s maybe the international jury who love st Pedro too…

LISTEEEEEEEEN, I loved Almacor's staging, it was literal fire. BUT! I cannot ignore the awful vocals throughout the performance. I had to vote for st. Pedro and Jorge instead, who did have strong consistent vocals during their entire show. If Almacor pulls his shirt together for the final, like Sofia should, they could both do better, you never know, but they've had months of preparation for this, so idk how much better they can do from Tuesday/Thursday to Saturday. What's done is done

I think you guys are a bit more forgiving with vocals than most. Yoly Saa has my 2nd favorite studio cut from Benidorm, but when I heard her sing I knew she wasn't advancing (still love her). And Almácor was way worse.

Spain should send St. Pedro, jury would love that song.

Jorge’s dance break was amazing actually. So Spanish, so flamenco like. It just needs to broken into few more camera shots/anles. Loved it! So now, every one who is doing dance break is “trying” to be Chanel or Eleni as if they invented and held some copy rights to it.

Jorge was so freaking robbed! He was amazing! He has the full package if worked on for Eurovision! Also, 94 for juries for their winner is NOT 50% when compared to the 80 Jorge got by winning BOTH the demoscopic AND televote! The dance break was flamenco, which doesnt use floor dancing. The dance break was actually brilliant in that respect. St Pedro is and probably should be going to Eurovision though. Almacor simply didnt sing well and had a lack of backing singers and dancers.

As much as I like St Pedro's song, I'm very much aware that there's a big cultural thing about it. I'd be happy with almost any of the songs, but I think the strongest options at this point are: Angy, Nebulossa, Jorge or Almacor.

As a fellow international eurofan, i think you guys liking Almacor and Nebulossa just shows your terrible taste in music and your lack of understanding between studio and live song versions. Almacor was a total pain to hear and watch.

Basically, the jury needs to understand that this concerns Eurovision and its audience. Angy and Jorge Gonzalez are the best in that way in my opinion.

Looking at Eurovision last year... What if Almacor brough the same level of backing vocals as Blanka (Poland) did? That would probably elevate the song a lot. Not that I agree with that, but if she could, then others could as well...?

Girl Im sorry but not Spanish is voting Almacor with those vocals... We appreciate vocals, it is minumum and he is not winning like that. St Pedro performance got a lot to change in his performance but he served vocals and visual.

St. Pedro is the best option for Malmö. But he has to change the staging. People don't understand the dancers. They reflect the four moods in a love relationship that is now broken. That's why some moves don't match with the song. An improvement is needed. Other way, very beautiful song ❤

I feel like yes, we can have our own opnions about the acts, and St.Pedro is not my favourite as well, but you can give criticisms and feedbacks without being mean and brining up things like "sleeping around" or "Spain flushs their tastes down the toilet." While I am not saying you need filter when reacting, that is very surprising to hear because I have followed each of you individually and thought you would be more mature than that. Fine to not like songs and performances but the commentary here was pretty disappointing and disrespectful in my (and it seems many others) opinion

I love Almácor's song (actually is my favourite song), but the vocals were not good. You cannot forget this issue in a singing contest.

It definately sounded better last night, RTVE improved the sound. I think the general results are clear, we could have predicted these results watching the likes and views on youtube. Maria, AMAZING, this was not in my favourites and I am not a great fan of this music but she slayed and the staging was fantastic, the dancers beautiful (much more elegant than Nebulossa) in my opinion), I loved it, the best of the night for me. Not ESC though, I agree. Dellacruz, nope. Marlena, one of my favourites but they dissapointed me. Vocally weak, poor staging and boring performance, should have been like the end from the start. St Pedro, he sings very very well, I could like this but the staging was a big NO, the colours, the dancers, it made no sense at all. The colours did not fit the song or the ambience either. But he deserved to go through. Jorge Gonzalez, male Chanel and Slomo 2.0, but way better vocals than Chanel. The outfit was amazing, the staging was very fitting and good, he looks HOOOOTTTT and he can definately sing. The performance was a bit too much for me though, and the dance break was a big meh. But he definately deserves to be in the finals. And he is SUPER kind. Yoly Saa is my favourite song of all Benidorm Fest and I loved the outfit, the visuals, the staging, it overall gave me goosebumps and I am so sorry she didn't go through. But it is true that last night it sounded like the song was lowered a tone and that she had voice issues or something. She actually had a slip in the first chorus. The staging was a bit chaotic sometimes too. Not good enough for finals, because of the voice issues maybe? But I think Almacór sang worse, so I still love the song and she is still my favourite. Roger Padrós, I loved him, it's one of my favourite songs also. I think he sang very well. But the staging was a bit boring. I think he deserved to be in the finals. Almacór, that could do waaaaay better in my opinion. Vocally he was not on point, the staging was boring and empty. He did a great job though and if it wasn't for the visuals, his energy and the fact that this is the music we all listen to in Spain, it wouldn't be good enough. So, I think the results were predictable: Viral and provocative = Nebulossa and Caliente. Spanish culture = St Pedro and Maria Pelae. Dance party party = Sofia Coll and Almacór. Original = Angy and Miss Cafeina. I don't see a ESC winner here but, I don't dislike any of these 8, Zorra is probable my least favourite performance (not song).

We get it, St. Pedro's song bores you to death. That says nothing about the quality or artistry of it. Some decisions by the jury can be difficult to understand, but this is not one of them. Stay mad.

I see st pedro at ESC , nice vocals but you have to wait two mins to get the best of the song. I would prefer Angy although she needs to do it better at the final. Jorge was nice too. Nebulosas is great but not for ESC and Sofia was a bit of a disappointment as her vocals were bad .

For crying out loud, what happened to Spain. Chanell was just 2 years ago - the stage was on fire, she was singing exceptionally while dancing her as* off with top notch sassiness. Now, almost everything is oversexualized and with mediocre or bad vocalists. No songs, just "sex sells".

I don't share the opinion about Almacor vocals. I mean, that kind of song doesn't require much, and for me it was decent. At least it wasn't like hearing a completely different person as with Delacruz and Marlena compared with the studio version.

If I live for your reactions I live more for your comments XD Well, guy and girls, despiting i'm dissapointed with St. Pedro's staging I understand your point of view about the song not being agree with it, I think is the best song (not overrated). Yes, Almacor had a great performance but honestly, did you heard these terrible vocals without autotune? No honey, no. Nebulossa, served no existing vocal capacity, a flat performance and the best moment to go to the toilet. Jorge maybe is what Europe expects from the spanish fuego. And Angy can be happy about her package. There's one idea that I take and I think w'all know in Spain ... the level standard with Chanel was high but we are not knowing to do it and now everything starts to be a mirage having candidatures for 2022 and 2002. She pushed the boundaries as a dream for just be now a bit better than before, but just that. Now after seeing all the entries, and giving value to a minimum vocal level and taking in consideration the staging, my favourite is Jorge with caliente hoping some team with talent of coreographer and producer takes this dance break and transform it in THE DANCEBREAK WE DESERVE with a good camera shots. Because we have to change all the St. Pedro's presentation for being succefull and that's too much work. This Benidorm fest is driving me crazy LOL!

Performance is really good but the song is not helping him at all… Agree with you all: St. Pedro needs to calm down those ladies and put some light at the final part when music builds up. Roger… was surprisingly good. Sad he did not get through the final. Almacor needs to dial up the back voices… it is the most modern of all the entries. I totally agree with Amer and Noosh regarding St Pedro i would prefer Caliente over it. But heres the thing I do not hold any power you guys dont hold any power and Im sad to say the Spanish audience doesnt hold the power the only ones who hold the power are the judges look how many points they gave to St Pedro even if you got 40 points from Televote and Demiscopic if they jurys vote you in the bottom you aint winning. So is between St Pedro and Nebulosa unless the jury vote differently in the final.

I really enjoyed your reactions guys, so fun to watch, I agreed with you almost 100% in the first semifinal, but in this one not so much, and that's OK ;) Almacor was a hot mess, to be honest, vocals were awful. I agree that Spain will be missing a real opportunity to do well by sending St Pedro, he's just not doing what he's supposed to be doing with this song which is conveying emotions, most countries in Europe won't feel that sound and he's no Salvador Sobral, also the dancers and their energetic movements don't match this song. After seeing all the performances, Spain should send Angy which is the best package overall, period. I hope the jurys give her a chance, placing her at least in the 3rd position, by doing that she could capture enough televote and demoscopic votes to win, fingers crossed!
