We interviewed Jean Claude Michelou, about the adventure of InColor Magazine, the magazine he founded in 2004 and built as editor in chief into what it is today: the ICA ( International Colored Gemstone Association) flagship and a great source of information for people curious about the colored stone industry. Less technical than classic gemological magazines, more trade and industry oriented, it rapidly emerged as the major publication about the colored gemstone sector.

As founder and editor in Chief, Jean Claude Michelou tirelessly used his network, the events he attended and his 18 years seat on the ICA Board of Directors to find and motivate key industry players to contribute to InColor. Beside the valuable content, each magazine starts with an interesting “editor note” giving JC’s insight about the industry.
