What a great looking program! I love the idea of all the hands on. That would be great for some kiddos. And that is one of the best teacher manuals I've seen. Wish they made a secular version. Thanks for sharing.
It might be worth checking out the samples. The only place in the student book that has religious content is in the unit introductions, which could easily be skipped.
Apologia looks so good! If MWC doesn't work out for us at some point I plan to try Apologia. I wish they would make their math all the way to high school! 😅
Thank you for the in dept review. Ive been looking for a few weeks now for grade/level 3 math after we're done with this free level 2 one we're using (they only have till level 2). Nothing seems to fit cept Apologia. And i also like how the practice pages arent filled with tons of questions. Just enough to learn the material. I heard u can get the fun activity sheets and extra worksheets via a code in the student book? We're on a budget and wanna not have to buy the teacher's manual
I don’t recall if the teachers guide or student book has the code for the extra activities however you would want the teachers guide because it has all the activities and manipulative printables that are used in the activities.
Do you know of a good math program that doesn’t require much prep? Dealing with a lot of difficult circumstances going on at once and I need something simple and effective!
This was super helpful and now I am intrigued to try this for my daughter! How would you compare this to BJU Press Math? My daughter is struggling with BJU and I'm hoping this would be a more gentle approach for her
I’m a little confused. I am deciding between Saxon and Apologia, which is what brought me to your video. Apologia looks amazing and you seemed to really like it. Why aren’t you using it? Why did you choose Saxon? Just trying to understand.
