You shouldn’t separate your crafter like that, keep people in a squad together. Make a new squads for people you send off in their own, otherwise you can’t effectively notice when they are under attack.

Next time make sure to get some bedrolls with you on your expeditions. You will need that healing. And dont forget to check if there is any attack on your outpost in the timeframe you take off with two of your best fighters. Maybe think about hiring some mercenaries when trying to clear some ruins, they are not that expensive and pretty strong. By the way spiders never have any meat. Theres not that much meat to begin with.. Ah and another mod recomondation "dog backpacks" it allows you to get, well, dog backpacks they are smaller than garru's but they are pretty handy. Love the series, love the stoner voice.

Farming tip: After harvesting, you should upgrade your growing fields. Make sure you’re only doing one at a time. Soon you’ll be swimming in cacti... Actually, that sounds pretty painful. Should’ve waited until the end of the episode before commenting, now I feel silly...

Lol, as soon as you left Stubs and Hamut outside in that HIver village while Sand and Dgomeat continued their journey, I was practically shouting at the screen, "no, don't leave them outside, it's not safe! Make them sit in a bar or something at least!" lol. And moments later they were attacked. That made me laugh out loud. It's nice to see some new areas though. I'm glad you're finally exploring more of the map.

Love the series! And if I could trouble you with one suggestion, would you consider using the [ and ] keys while laying down buildings? That will fix their tilt and make them horizontal. I've seen some others let's plays where you wonder how they keep their tea cups from rolling down the table and it's constantly nagging that noisy perfectionist neuron in my head.

You miss the skeleton repair kits which worth 4000 a piece, more than power core.

Spoilers for the episode in the following comments: 1) Haha yes, finally some proper underarmor Sand! 2) Seeing the actual speed is a good tool, I know I've nagged about that as well :v 3) You probably need more people now I think :P 4) Oh my. Oh. My. Stay away from there. Dogmeat being a good girl in that fight though. 5) The spiders are patrolling, you'd need to roll in with enough force to kill them all. Good armor, with good coverage , is needed for that as well. 6) Only certain creatures in vanilla have meat on them, Spiders have no meat on them. 7) You can leftclick storage items and see if they're empty without opening them :) 8) Cat-Lon's Exile. That's like, the final endgame location from what I've heard, you should talk to/hire Skeletons if you wish to know who Cat-Lon is. Some other great loot there in that ruin as well! 9) Nice, good guy Swamp Raptors providing some distraction :) 10) Sand, the absolute unit, just picks up Stubs. That dialogue had me chuckling. It's gonna get Sand some good training as well :D 11) Remember, when people are unarmed inside they get a big bonus to their martial arts 12) Generator cores are just sold for Cats. Or used for strength training :P 13) Haha well, now at least you know where the Red Sabre boss is :v 14) Getting all those plants to upgrade some of the fields was a good decision! 15) Oh Rycon, didn't you know that hitting your allies is the best way to avoid hitting them in the future? Haha, it's a bit weird how you train precision shooting :D 16) Dang, annoying that it was an empty ruin

I'm really looking forward to these episodes all week. Here's to hoping that Sand and Dogmeat leave the south alive. The south east is insanely dangerous, but Clownsteady is nice. Also IMO the one answer to all things creepy-crawly are crossbows - the bigger (and further) the better. Cheers!

I see that Dogmeat has over 30 Dexterity which lets him attack faster and he is pretty strong as an elder bonedog so it contributes a lot to his attack

There's a great mod for settling the deserts called "Moisture farming", that lets you set up automatic moisture collectors with enough research.

Building tip: you can place objects closer to each other when placing them at the same time. If you build objects one at a time you won’t be able to fit as much in compare to placing all the objects at once.

"Dogmeat? Dogmeat, where are you?" Dozens of scenarios ran through Sand's mind, each more horrible than the last. Beaten up by the Sabers? Lost and starving? Being eaten by those damn spiders? "Dogmeat?" A chipper bark caused those thoughts to vanish in an instant as the bone dog ran up to Sand, happily splashing through the filthy water. Sand heaved a sigh of relief and scratched Dogmeat's carapace, before they began moving through the swamps again.

The spiders actually have no flesh on them. They are pretty much just hostile mobs.

11:32 In one of my play throughs, I built my base right there. It's on the border of the desert and the swamp, really good for Rice, hemp, wheat and OK for Green fruit farming. Ahh memories.

You can't take off flesh off spiders. That's weird that you think you could. But usually its the claws, though.

So I guess I was bit beind with my commnets about Hamut. Glad to see you got him. I'm almost caught up! Good series, I'm really enjoying them and getting ideas for my own party as well.

A tip for the ruin with the blood spiders.In case there aren’t any NPC’s around. If you have good sneak and lockpick or tools. You can open the gate Then sneak away. When you return sometime later there is a good chance there fighting red sabre’s or swamp Raptors. When They finsihed eachother of Its free loot for you. 😉🎉

OMG! The city planning . . . let's just set a less defensive set of walls around the fields rather than extending the walls back . . . and for wells lets keep them up near the front door, the squad doesn't mind hauling water as far as they possibly can without actually leaving the settlement. I hope this changes soon in future episodes. ::grins:: Otherwise I have sympathy pains for the farmer's poor backs! lol

For the sake of the characters lore and intro can you make Hamut some kind of adventurer/relic hunter? I don't think someone with a background like his would be farming/working on a daily basis, They'd be exploring and getting stronger to take on the Slavers.Also I think he looks cool. I think you can research Training weights, fill your character's backpack up with them and set them out on journey by giving them a job to follow a random Caravan or Patrol, with that being said making him follow some Hundred guardian patrol for a while and just forgot about him while he trains. And whenever the weights stop becoming heavy you can give him a bigger backpack and do it again, slowly building a strong Character in the background.

rycon, there is a video where a guy made hiver super soldiers. Maybe you can do something as cool as this too. They look amazing.

Is it difficult to transport water from one locations to another? I would consider once you make the valley relatively peaceful and safe to set up a small settlement that is focused on producing water on the edge of the Swamps. It could also serve as a Trading Post and Forward Operating Base.
