Store one has a Snakehead fish which is one my favorite fish time 1:19 to 22 store 3 is my favorite one it also has snakehead fish the one you call Channa also my favorite is in store 3 they had Bichirs looks like P.Lapradii or Congicus Love these fish best fish for me time stamp 5;15 TO 29 Thanks for the tour..

The last store, store A. Best variety of fish, different sized aquarium, and some of their tanks were semi-scaped too.. definitely my favourite of the three stores. @6:45 I do love my hillstream loaches. Hi from England.

Thanks for showing us these stores. As someone who lives in the US it's fun to see other fish stores from different countries. I was very surprised by how clean all the tanks were and the fish were all healthy! Better than some stores here in America. It was cool to see some snake head's in the stores since they are illegal here. Awesome vid!

I'm glad you liked it! I was also very excited to see the stores as well. I remember watching Aquarium co-op's tour of Chinese fish stores and markets and it was so interesting so I was extra excited when Daniel filmed for me.

Pretty bettas in Malaysia are usually bought off market. Like within the betta community. Very rarely they would sell them at typical stores. There a couple of popular betta-only stores that I know and that's in Terengganu (Betta MFA) and Melaka (Arif Betta).

The reason there are so less bettas, it's cuz bettas are outcompeted by those "chamas" which are called Channas aka snakeheads, arowanas, glofish, guppies, and wild bettas. They are basically giant sized bettas that look cooler. If you want to see bettas you have to go to more betta specialized stores. Some of the best fish stores include Fish Depot, Nulifar pet and aquatics, and Newlife aquatics. Those are some of my favourites. The one I most commonly go to is Taman Desa Aquarium, which is right beside where my school is located at and is pretty small, I go there to support their small business as it is run by a old couple.

The Chama fish at 4:00 are snake heads, sadly very illegal in America due to its invasive in Florida. If they aren’t illegal I bet you I would own one

I would love to own then but since they are illegal I guess I can only enjoy seeing them on video.
