Hi! My name is Kasia and I have a small apartment fish room that is also my work from home office. I make videos about betta fish breeding, betta fish care, and betta community tanks. I also breed dwarf cichlids and keep freshwater neocaradina shrimp.
Half of them are female, not all guys. My one crown flower plant cannot survive the numbers of caterpillars, so this is very helpful, Mahalo from Maui!
Thank you very much for this video, last time i buy my first male betta fish but i feel him being lonely on his tank and i promise him that i would give him a new friend which is some small fish and after that i buy a two big fish (orandam goldfish) and sadly to say i need to move him in small tank and i cried because i remember my promise to him but i see your video and it really help me!.
This is something so special! It's so exciting to see how passionate you are about these fish! I've never really stopped and considered fish...it feels kind of rude of me to ask, but I'm curious, and hopeful I maybe find an older video where you talk about this, but what do you feel has drawn you towards these fish? Their unique appearance? Personality? I know it's a stretch to think I'd get an answer, but... anyway... that's a beautiful fish there at the end!
They have the most beautiful sweet love for each other and such a strong sense of family - I'm in tears. I love these doves so much. I'm so happy there's a flock at my work that's growing. I've been able to help a couple of them who have gotten stuck, and now bring and scatter seeds around...they just have the most graceful and peaceable presence. They form lifelong bonds with their spouses, they're courageous and inspired and they sing so sweetly for everyone! I wish every human family could be this loving. The world would truly be a better place. Edit: and I wanted to say that you put so much love, appreciation, thoughtfulness, and hard work into making this video, and it really shows. I'm so thankful your focus on the doves let them and their love shine through, rather than focus on your experience with them - it really gives us, the viewer, an opportunity to see more about you and what you value, even indirectly. It's such a precious thing, to be given the gift of sight to see this sweet love, this divine love, in the hearts of these sweet doves. I'm so thankful there are others out there who see it. And I am so doubly grateful for you sharing this story with us. It makes me want to cry. Thank you so much.
Awesome video! I have one monarch caterpillar and 4 black swallowtail caterpillars in a similar cage that you had. Thanks for the bit of confidence I was looking for!
A fourth gal tank can go from one floor to the next trust me it can and will happen if you keep fish 40 years . Humidifiers cost one dollar a day to run.
I think the tank is cute as it is but I would love to see it fully set up, cycled and having a small betta or other small resident living in it. That way I could see how it functions after working for a bit. You did a thorough job with the unboxing so this isn’t a criticism of the video just would like to know more about the tank.
I will definitely do a followup video. I think this would be a great tank for one of my older bettas due to the size so I'm eager to get it set up. I'm just trying to figure out which spot in my fishroom would be good since I kinda want to be able to utilize the spinning function from time to time ^_^
I got this a few weeks because I needed a quick emergency quarantine tank because one of my fish was sick. (I should say I have glo danios and zebra danios). I’m new to the fish community and I wasn’t sure what else to get for a quarantine tank. So thank you so suggesting the other tank ❤
I'm hoping to use it possibly for one of my older bettas as a retirement tank but shrimp might be a great idea instead...hmmm... now I need to figure out what to do
@@CreativePetKeeping Retiring bettas like shallow tanks so they don't have to go as far to the surface, especially with long fins. "Pillows" of broadleafed plants for them to rest on is also good for them.
I wouldnt want to put neon tetra in a 3 gallon i have mine in a 15gal long tank they love it tons of space. i think this would stress neons out personally
My first fish was an impulse buy Betta that I named Mythic. I didn’t change his water for a month. No cycling, no nothing. I didn’t realize there was a problem until his fins started fraying. I immediately asked the internet and got the answer - Change the water! Then I fell down the FishTube rabbit hole. That was 7 years ago.
@@vampgaia i got my first ever betta last month, had him in a tiny hole, noticed he became extremely sick, researched the internet, fell into the fish rabbit hole, got two 3 gallon betta tanks and a 10 gallon planted tank with shrimps. haha
I like that they include substrate and the swivel base will be nice for maintenance also that rake looks like it would be great for thinning out duck weed or other small floating plants. Would be nice to have a less expensive version without the light and filter as I usually replace those almost immediately when I get one of these kits.
That’s complete and utter rubbish. There is so many people around the world keeping multiple bettas in the same tank, I for one have two males and 4 males in the same tank and never had a problem. Look at all the other RU-vidrs who have multiple bettas in the same tank
This video has been so very helpful for us in our first journey in raising these little dudes in captivity. Your beautiful video captures and thoughtful, informative & sweet commentary left us without questions and deeply invested in the process. ❤
