Great information, I never realized that the trigger tension spring could affect trigger response. I have mine cranked down, I can't wait to try it with less tension.

I think the thing is with the cheap brushes is down to how well you look after them. Iv got some cheap chinese brushes that are 10+ years old and they still spray great, becasue i looked after them. With most brushes the housing will hold up, its a solid metal piece after all. I know you have said that you have changed the needle and noozle setup in your evo so technically you can't say for a fact that the original setup would still be performing perfectly to this day. Those parts are the ones to go on any brush. Of course with iwata and H&S internals they are going to last longer. But as i said, take care of your brushes nd most will last.

Number 46243 Infinity! I have an Evo Silverline 2in1 with 15 years or there about it's not an FPC and my nozzle on the .15 version had not any notch...it is a V1, but my .15 Infinity V1 nozzle has a notch in the nozzle...there was not a .2 mm (2 notches nozzle) version by then and I know that the system was modified throughout the years only noticed it the other day because I never used the .15 from the evo. The old 0.15 needles didnt have any marking, where the 0.4 needles had a Stamped 2mm mark at the non sharpen end and the 0.4 old nozzles had a broader notch. Is it possible that an unmarked nozzle (no notches) is a 0.15?

Yep spend the cash. I have Evo 2024, the CR Plus, Badger Krome and my favourite the Iwata Eclipse (11 years) going strong.

Trigger response/consistency when pulling trigger is hugeeeee. When you're doing detail work and your AB shoots out more than you expect is beyond infuriating

I found this a very interesting watch, IMO as I'm no expert on brushes but it seems like the mid range brushes are more than capable of getting down as fine as the top end ones so my money would be on the H&S Evo 2024 as it seems to do everything the £500 can do, I'm mentioning this as a person that owns a £30 brush that I use for cut throughs on my panels😁🙄👍

Hope the new infinity performs on par with your old infinity with the hack , itching for its release

I have the Evo 2024 and it is wonderful, but I thought you were going to include some Creos with the quality/price they have, my favorite airbrush is the 771, it is unbeatable in quality/price.

I'm currently stuck deciding between getting a Gsi Creos PS 771 or a H&S Cr plus Infinity 0.2 🤔 Has the trigger issue on the H&S been fixed? Or will they be releasing a new model like they have with their other brushes?

I believe that a cunning person loses twice. When it comes to tools, I believe that they do not have to be from the highest (most expensive) shelf, but they also should not be the cheapest, because it will only make you frustrated. I have a several-year-old H&S Infinity 0.15 and thanks to you I discovered its beauty - thank you.

The Giraldez doesn't have the trigger issue that the other Infinity airbrushes have?

This is one my favourite things to do with my collection. Just get them all out and do some doodles with ink and then try the medium I use for my scale modelling and miniture painting. That's were I tend to find out how fussy the brushes are due to the pigment size being bigger than the ink.

yeah i have been looking for a grafo review as well .. the trigger mechanish on those have kept me thinking about them every now and then 😅❤

Hey Rob, have you ever tried the H&S Grafo line of airbrushes? Maybe one day Warrick will do you a solid and send you out one for review, here's hoping anyways. On another note, where did you get the easel you use that looks like it is made of PVC pipe?
