What can you say, it's an Iwata and they are a quality product I don't have an Iwata brush but I do own the WS400 Series 2 and the W400 Bellaria full size guns and the WS400 is my favourite clear gun, from what I can see here the brushes are just as well made🤓👍

Great information, great review! I have an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS with a 0.35mm needle, and I replaced the trigger with the Takumi trigger, and the tail piece with the Takumi tail piece, and it works great at 8 psi with paint reduced similar to what you use. Thanks for your great reviews.

I can't tear myself away from watching your tutorials, reviews & whatever you put out there. I find your videos very indepth, informative but also easy to follow. Would love to be taught one on one by you. Quick question Rob, How many airbrushes do you actually own?

I am a modeler, I use Eclipse Takumi for everything in modeling. It has a very comfortable trigger, a short front end, and a 0.35 nozzle ideal for modeling paints. One airbrush that can do it all, I like it.

Bought one recently and its a game changer and i'm enjoying airbrushing more but saying that i picked up my H&S the other day and used FW inks thinned down and that worked a dream . The trick is as you say the paint consistancey 👍

Excellent, thank you. I'd love to see the same brush with the 0.5 needle option fitted to understand the pressures that you'd use with the larger nozzle, and to understand when you'd use each, or what jobs you'd switch out to a 0.5mm for. Many thanks.

I like the trigger top on the Takumi so much I bought a few and replaced the triggers on my Eclipses and Mr Hobby 270 and 289s with them.

Hi, I was under the impression that Iwata says not to unscrew the tiny nozzle. I thought the whole point of the Eclipse airbrushes was that you remove the large nozzle, like Badger’s and other similar teardrop style nozzles, making everything easier and reducing the amount of time spent on hands and knees trying to see where the tiny nozzle disappeared to! You don’t even need the large spanner, the head is fine when finger tight. Regards, Andy

What's the difference ? - Creos , Iwata , H&S - I've been using these for 40 years and more - it's down to you - from a mouth diffuser to an Iwata - a Fengda can do what a H & S can do - it's handbags for blokes - expensive tooling is not essential - you don't need dear gear, the Fengda range is more than adequate - I have no affiliation with any of these.

@@fraserhardmetal7143 all I can say is us blokes have to have something in are lives that we can collect 😁👍and yes they all do the same thing but some do it better than others as we both know

@@dredfxcustompaint you're right of course, it's all down to individual perception - I remember asking a chap in Canada why he used an expensive Estwing hammer and not the Stanley one provided by the company , they both do the same job after all. He said there was no difference in performance but using the better one on a day to day basis made the job much more rewarding - I thought it strange at the time but he was right - I just baulk at all these mainly U.S. channels that have workshops stuffed with Festool gear who do not produce anything with it - like I say - handbags for blokes.
