Thank you for the delightful video! I was going gaga over all of that fabric! There isn’t a Joann store near me, so it’s fun to see what it’s like! I just wonder if you have something in mind when you go in, because you seem to either get inspired by what you’re seeing (I also got to thinking about that cable knit and the velvet!!!) or you already have a plan of what you want to make next, before you shop. I have photos on my phone of my pattern envelopes that I want to make, but often can’t find fabric I want, so maybe I need a new system! Fabric first, then pattern.... or pattern first.. hmmm....probably both!😅 Well I never get tired of your videos, thanks again for sharing your sewing adventures!

Hi, Janis. Thank you so much for watching even though you don’t have a Joann near you. That’s so sweet, and I really appreciate it. The velvet and the cable knit were the most memorable to me after my visit. I usually have a pattern in mind and then go out looking for the fabric to go with it. Occasionally I will buy fabric with no pattern in mind and just put the fabric away until I find a pattern that I think will work. Speaking of having patterns on your phone and not being able to find fabric you want, that happened to me last week. I was hunting for fabric to make a dress. I didn’t end up finding anything that I liked, so I just put that dress pattern away and moved on to a different pattern. Lol. Perhaps I need a new system too. Lol
