OMG I have one too for my top teeth! I'm supposed to wear it only at night but I LITERALLY forgot the last time i wore them (I don't even think I know where they are looooool). Loved how detailed you were, this is going to be so helpful for so many people!!

I still have my wisdom teeth! My orthodontist said I can’t wait until I’m finished my treatment because they aren’t shifting my wisdom teeth. I’m so scared to my mine out though 🤣🤣

I’m hoping to able to get Invisalign within a few months. I had my wisdom teeth taken out senior year of high school and now I’m starting a new job. It’s the one thing I’m self conscious about and I feel like yes it cost a lot but it’s permanent and it’s safer than smiles direct club type aligners.
Thanks for watching JoAnna! Exactly, if you're spending money already I think it's worth it to go the Invisalign route and get direct care from an orthodontist. Rather than paying $ and not having the outcome you wanted.
I currently have Invisalign. Started with 22 trays, and I'm currently on may 2nd of my 20 refinement trays! I wear each refinement tray for 7 days each, so if all goes as planned I will be done towards the end of January. If I can be if any help, just let me know. It goes quick...good luck!!!
Wow! I used to wear braces since 7th grade and now I have a clear Invisalign from smile direct club my mom sign me up when I kept lose it which is disaster but it didn’t hurt too bad, I like wear it them it’s great. Yours look good, too Syd! 🤓💜
I've always wondered what this process was like since I only received 1 as a retainer after braces. When you pulled out the device to open your mouth, I was like, what do you need that for?? Interesting how they look at photos you can take at home to see progress. Convenient! I never got cleaning crystals, that's cool! I think I just brushed them with a toothbrush. & you don't sound too different actually 👍
Yes the little cheek retractor is so I can take photos weekly and upload them to an app! Then I get the approval to move onto the next tray. Excited to give updates in the future 🤩🦷
I have to get my wisdom teeth removed before I get mine. But I had braces and after 3 months with wearing my retainers all day every day they wouldn't fit anymore. We called my old ortho to tell him and he said that I wasn't his patient anymore so it wasn't his problem. (He told me I'd be his patient for life)
Hey Sydney! I’m on my 10th and final tray and can’t say I like the end results, I’m too nervous to bring that up to my dentist in case he says I saw the final video and agreed to it. I spent all my money on this so I’m so anxious help :(
Don’t be afraid to speak up. For my first set at the end I wasn’t 100% and my dentist had no problem discussing with me and I got a couple more sets to extend my treatment. I was so happy at the end of it! Please don’t be afraid to speak up, it’s a lot of money and your dentist will understand :) Good luck!
My orthodontist said I have to lose all my baby teeth lol but my doctor said I had 11 to lose and i think I lost ten and now I haven’t gone back to the doctor yet but I’m still picking whether I get braces or Invisalign. Any advice? Also small RU-vidr!
Most orthodontists provide Invisalign as an alternative to braces, but i would recommend calling around to find a place to be sure! You can click the link in my bio to see providers in your area 😊
That took quite some effort and time to to wait for them good for you, I will maybe be getting some this year I’ve been waiting for a while to get them
