Im about to take my con ex 3300hp that i have had for 20 years. It worked last ti.e i used it and i love the radio. I am setting up radio again but trying to figure out if it is worth doing a peak and tune since it is older. Or just buy a new radio
Okay, I have noticed some frequency jumping from channels 18 to 24 so the 10K switch makes more sense to me now. The other is also clear to me too. Thanks for your help.
What’s the echo control set at the beginning of the video I seen the outside knob was all the way up and I just didn’t see what the reverb was set at just curious
Connex makes a nice radio. I have a Galaxy DX55V that has been converted for 27 Mhz band and also has the 10K switch and that leads me to two questions. 1) can the new Connex's still be changed to cover the 27 Mhz band and 2) what is the usefulness of the 10K switch?, doesn't it just go up to the next available frequency? Thanks for the videos, I especially enjoy the high power amplifier,. I also have a Texas Star hot plate 1200 w/ 2290"s and its a beast with the 55 driving it. 73"s to ya.
If you've ever noticed channel 19 is 27.185 Channel 20 is 27.205 . By using the 10khz switch on channel 19 you are now on the frequency in between. There are a few other channels that fall into the same category such as 11 and 12. For your other question... What do YOU think?
