I met him at Imola in April during the World Endurance Championship race, such a sweet and nice guy!

I'd love to see him in an F1 car by at least next year, though I'd be very surprised is he's getting it now, because like you said, he doesn't turn 18 until August. He's one of my favourite drivers in F2 at the moment too.

They shouldn't give him the license early when they refused to give one to Colton Herta a few years ago and Herta has much more experience

As I said, I can't help but imagine Herta might be a little ticked off if Antonelli does get special dispensation given he didn't

The request should be 100% denied since he’s not old enough and doesn’t have enough points for the superlicense, the FIA shouldn’t break the rules for him and there’s no extreme reason for it. He’s massively overhyped and is definitely not “the next Verstappen”. Verstappen is a once in a lifetime driver which even Lauda and Mario Andretti stated. The problem with Williams is not the driver.

I think, from what I'm seeing, he does actually have enough points for a super lisence (don't quote me on that though). But I do think it should be denied. And yeah while I do think Logan has to do a little more than he's doing to keep his seat Williams do have other issues right now that aren't really to do with Logan, most notably that the car ain't great. They're in a bit of a strange place imo

The fact that Albon is even struggling says enough. I do feel bad for Sargeant, every time he might stand a chance at a decent race he gets yeeted by somebody. I also don’t think that Sargeant has ever really gotten a fair shake either.

yk what would be brutall? instead of putting Antonelli on Logans seat, put him in Lewis, but only let him know the day before the P1.

Got to wonder about the driver supply with these rumours. Mercedes are losing a driver and Logan Sargeant is surely on his way out of F1 forever so who fills the empty seats? Or how about Albon to Mercedes (yes please) and Antonelli in at Williams?

Albon at Merc could be quite interesting. And Mick Schumacher is still hanging around he could get one of the seats

give him another year in F2 Oli Bearman just 1 year older sorces 6 points for ferrari yeah this is a mistake

Another year in F2 could be good for him, but how likely is Toto to remain that patient despite saying he doesn't want to rush the kid (we all know that sometimes what gets said in this sport and what actually happens in this sport can be two different things)

@@ItsMaryWork He's probably desperate sure the younger you are with these achievements makes it more special but I don't think holding out a possible seat for him seems unfair plus Logan kinda got a bad apple in F3 2020 season with Oscar. Cause the underdogs in F2 become more of a force to be champion squashing junior year careers might not be the best move. If Kimi was in F3 he might be doing better because the pace difference may be the main factor
