And honestly, Joe's an upgrade. I voted for "Sleepy Joe" and got "Joe who quietly gets stuff done." That's better than a lot of Presidents, Democrat or Republican, have done in ages.
So many presidential candidates had poor performances in their first debates and went on to slay the rest of their debates and win the elections from both parties. Reagan, Bill Clinton GW Bush and Barack Obama are all examples.
I'm getting really sick of the media still trying to make a big deal about Biden's poor debate performance while downplaying the Trump immunity ruling. Really seems like they're taking a side here...
Proud of my California Governor Gavin Newsom who continues to have faith and support in President Joe Biden. Maybe Newsom understands Bidens struggles with his stutter, as Newsom himself struggles with dyslexia. Both these men are brilliant, and have done excellent works on behalf of the American peoples. WE THE PEOPLE...🇺🇸 VOTE BIDEN BLUE 🔵
@@WarriorVinyard After TFG told Johnson to tank the best border bill in years, he is the one to blame for how bad it was. All just for election year talking points. Power is where hIs priorities truly are, not America's best interests. And in case you didn't know or weren't told by a news source, border crossings are now at the lowest number since January 20, 2021. Happy 4th to you.
First thing on NBC I see this morning is once again talk about Biden and whether he is okay for the job. No discussion about whether a 34 felon who talks in word salad and surrounds himself with crooks or evil people should be a candidate. No discussion on how SCOTUS has made that felon and crook a king. No discussion on how SCOTUS has made rulings taking rights away, empowering the court system and the president, but taking rights away from women, and federal government experts (like air pollution scientists).
I have a stutter and it pisses me off to no end that none of the news outlets brought it up after the debate. Its like they forget it every time he talks.
My 93 yr. old Mother, republican all her life, voted for Biden and other democrats, in Ga. In 2020. She knows false when she saw it. If she was still alive, she would vote Biden again.
@ glennismcdonald3241. I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. I lost my mother a month prior to Trump announcing his candidacy for the 2016 election in May of 2015. She despised him once he wrote his op ed in the New York Times about the Central Park and identified his racism immediately and her blood boiled when he questioned President Obama’s natural born citizenship. She was an FDR democratic liberal to the core who grew up in the Great Depression and always voted for democrats and it would have broken her heart to see the divisiveness that Trump caused in this country.
@@TheZimberto Sadly, we lost our Mother Nov. 19, 2022. So no, she will not be voting again. She was 2 months shy of turning 97. She was a truly amazing women and I am so happy her last vote was blue, all the way. That is why I want to scream every time I hear election fraud. No decent people voted blue.
Meidas Touch yesterday had a litany of categories and graphs touting Biden’s accomplishments; very impressive! The thumb nail was about a journalist leaking what he knew!
That’s exactly what the Democrats should be promoting. He’s accomplished so much more than any president in decades and decades. Some are so far reaching that they’re going to have positive affects well into the future. Wise old men plant trees in whose shade they shall never sit.
The media has done a poor job reporting on them, preferring to chase clicks by stirring up grievances. Sadly, some of the formerly progressive media has fallen into doing this and they are not helping get progressive policies.
I would phrase it, vote for the most electable opponent of the worst candidate on the ballot. Fortunately, that's shaping up to be Biden, Harris, or some other quite competent Democrat. (And would hearing "President Kamala Harris" in January make MAGA heads explode, or what?😁)
Democrats really need to find a way to end the electoral college. Institute the popular vote. Hilary accumulated 3 million more votes than Trump did in 2016 and lost because of the electoral college.
I saw a RU-vid reel (I think) yesterday that said, "Project 2025 will happen peacefully if the Left lets it." I was skim-scrolling, so I'm not sure of the full thing and I didn't give right-wing media any clicks, but it was right there, in text. Message should be loud & clear.
Independence Day - America fought to escape tyranny 248 years ago, and now over 1/3rd of America wants tyranny in the form of an orange blob. Bigly sad!
They really don't understand how bad it will be. With the mindset it won't happen to me. Till it does. Then it's too late. They have been lied to so long they really can't distinguish lies from truth.
I hope you enjoy your Independence Day, it may be the last one you get without a King! Incidentally, November 5th is the date Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament here in the UK. Make sure this doesn't happen to you via the ballot box this 5th November!🇬🇧
What accomplishments? He has allowed millions to flood in with open borders and inflation has sky rocketed under his watch. I am voting Donald J. Trump.
It hasn't been inert it has been trying to push MAGAloon nonsense and obstruct useful and necessary work like helping Ukraine and stopping Monarchist [formerly Republican] attempts to deregulate and deprive non-white non-GOP people of their right to vote.
Register your friends, family, neighbors. Join, donate, phone. Find your local Democratic org and volunteer. We can do this... Vote blue. I'm voting for Joe Biden.
Jessie Dollamore (I may have minced the spelling is still keeping it fairly grounded. Avopid Vauch (who may as well wear a MAGA hat at this point), America Today (who just hate old people period), And unfortunately as I quite like him - David Packman. He's put out none stop drama and clickbait since the debate (he comes across as bitter, like a guy who lost a huge bet on debate winner)
I have stopped watching mainstream media. I look for calm and logical reporting, not click-baiting. I feel confident in Beau reporting and opinion. I love his honesty and integrity.
@@mmurtabaI don't always agree with him though. I really think they can't replace him, makes us look week and Biden represents goodness verses hate. Just who would tgey run? Wish he picked Elizabeth Warren instead of Camilla Harris though.
Biden is the most knowledgable and skilled politician available. When he was younger, he wasn't. He's learned a lot over all those years and that acrued knowledge, wisdom, and skill are what makes him the most qualified person available. His ability to answer questions under the gun with 1 and 2-minute time limits at 9 at night while sick and jet-lagged is not a skill the presidency requires. His ability to consider all aspects, work with his team, find solutions, build coalitions, lead with morality and compassion, these are the things he has demonstrated over his term so far, and his success rate has been extraordinary. Of all presidents, he has erned a second term. If only the public were smart enough to give it to him.
Exactly. We've watched him from grow from almost accidental youngest senator, ever, into the statesman we need on the world stage and the executive we need at home.
This mess occurred prior to the 2020 Election and I’m sick of it. These endless complaints are reminiscent of Obama’s tan suit. If the only thing that the GOP has to complain about is his age, and not his policies, it’s a whole bunch of nonsense. To do all of this at the last hour is crazy
Still Ridin’ with Biden. At the very worst we will have our first female President and imma big fan of hers. She’s sharp as a tack and extremely intelligent with great leadership abilities and he’s assembled a great cabinet.
Franklin Roosevelt brilliantly led from a wheelchair and was grievously ill when he died in office, after saving us from the Great Depression, Hitler, Mussolini, and Imperial Japan. Today's internal threats are no less serious, and President Biden is our best--maybe the only!--hope of defeating them. Vote Biden/Harris!
Franklin Roosevelt also had a sharp mind and the love and support of the American people. It isn’t about age or physical fitness, it’s about mental competency.
Biden & Governors working together as a united party solidifies that the Democrat Party supports our Constitution & will do whatever is best for our nation.
What's happened to our Dem politicians and pundits, going crazy with panic after one temporary stumble by our best President since Franklin Roosevelt? Vote Biden/Harris!
So many things wrong with this statement. Biden has failed to secure our democracy. He has severe dementia and his ego is about to cost us our democracy. That will be his legacy if he doesn't drop out.
They're playing into a bog standard media narrative, pushed by right wingers and something that they haven't had a chance to run in a few years: "Dems in Disarray!"
They are all media 1st and the media runs on attention. Just ignore them, they do not deserve your attention. They're not saying anything that hasn't already been said on this subject.
Biden couldn't recover from Trump's Gish Gallop during that debate. I blame the debate prep. They should have known he would do this. He did it last time only his mic didn't get muted. Some one who stutters would have an even harder time with this in my opinion
Across the board is the answer. He needs a clear majority this time so his hands aren’t tied behind his back and to pass the most important legislation that’s been introduced but rejected.
If one side can remain in lock step with a convicted criminal who confirms he is a reckless imbecile on a daily basis then I am sure the other side can manage the situation of supporting a successful president who had a single bad episode of 90 minutes duration in three and a half years.
This was not a single bad episode. Democrats ego, hubris and need to cling to power are about to cost us an election again. Possibly for the last time.

@@BadOompaloompa79 Agree that Dem campaign experts can really screw up. They've consistently betrayed us in huge Florida, which should be winnable. In deadly 2022 only half of registered Dems were motivated to turn out. We have to change things in the party, which is still the nation's only hope.
@@BadOompaloompa79What is your solution then, this late in the stage? Sure, we can all be upset at the choice we have before us, but it is where we’re at and complaining about the options doesn’t magic Trump away. We are too close to the general not to have a solid plan forward. Turning in on our own team is what got us Trump in 2016.
@@trajanchan9574Its also people like me - who like Biden, but don't think he's appropriate for the next 4 years, based on the last 4 years, and see other good choices. Biden and his ahitty AG are the entire reason Trump still is a factor. Every day Merrick Garland shows up for work is Biden taking a piss on justice and democracy.
I would also. But a corpse can't win. Biden might have better odds if he was dead. The democrats need to do better and not let Hubris cost us our freedom.
He barely beat him in 2020 then dropped the ball on prosecution and on the court and on limiting the damage he could do in the second term. He never should have been the candidate in 2020 and now his ego, denial and senility is about to cost us our democracy. Just like Hillary's ego did in 2016. Centrist democrats would rather trump won than give up power or move an inch to the left.
Owe him for what? High inflation? High fuel costs? An open border worse than it’s ever been? A disastrous pull out of Afghanistan? You were better off under Trump. You know this.
As long as the President is running against Drumf, he's going to get my vote. If he choses to step down, whoever replaces him is going to get my vote. Voting for anybody is less important than voting against Drumf.

Keeping their targets/victims on edge makes them controllable because they come to doubt their own judgment & experience of what’s happening. Here, aside from opportunistic instigation from the gop, it’s the media outlets tryna make their buck by stoking the issue. Big Data. This still frustrates me that Cambridge Analytica - & Big Data, generally, was not stopped by the US Congress after 2016. Across the pond, Alexander Nix is no longer allowed to run any kind of similar business. The last time I read about him, he was working on the board of a company formed by Robert Mercer & hus daughter Rebecca and it was 'Big Data' & their influence in politics. Interestingly, last night on the BBC (night before our election) there was a panel of 3 or 4 people discussing political party social media tactics. They had at least a dozen phones from "planted voters" (ie they were research phones) and were discussing the different things different people were getting on their social media feeds. It wasn't great analysis, but at least it's been part of the discussion here... Mostly to make fun of political parties trying to get fans on TikTok, but still something of an acknowledgement that it IS an issue - people are all seeing different things. The media is complicit, especially in the US. We have quite specific laws about what mainstream media can say & when it can say things about elections. We also don't have tv ads. We have "This is a party political broadcast..." & then you get an ad about their policies and manifesto. The same things don't apply to social media. These are decent articles, although several years old now: www.vice.com/en_us/article/mg9vvn/how-our-likes-helped-trump-win & www.forbes.com/sites/thomasbrewster/2020/07/13/inside-americas-secretive-2-billion-research-hub-collecting-fingerprints-from-facebook-hacking-smartwatches-and-fighting-covid-19/

It's getting to the point where I can't take it anymore, and your channel is the one I turn to in order to get some rationality.
When I was 36, my husband and I traveled to Ireland. We were so jet lagged that we had to pull over our rental car several times to sleep. I can't remember any time in my life feeling such overwheming fatigue - even as a 20 year old partier! So when Biden says he was jet-lagged I totally understand. He can't alter his official schedule for a debate but his staff did not do him a service by ignoring his need for extra rest. Presidents aren't super beings , even though sometimes we project them as such. We need them to have good core values, as I think Biden has.
He traveled on air force 1 , in his suit of rooms, 12 days before the debate HE SCHEDULED. He was not "tired" he didn't " have a cold" he had a serious neurological episode live on stage in front of 50 million people.
I will vote for Biden over a convicted felon, no question. However, I am concerned that Biden is not in good health and is perhaps even showing signs of Parkinson's. That might explain is memory lapses, stiff gait, monotone voice and stone face appearance.
@@BadOompaloompa79 No matter what issue Biden has or how female Harris is, they aren't traitors to the constitution or their oaths of office. They aren't convicted felons. They aren't adjudicated grapists. They are not promising to destroy our country on day one. I don't care if Joe starts singing to his wife and daughter on the other side on stage- there's no excuse or valid reason for TRE45ON to be free at this point, much less be a candidate. Harris will be a decent president. Not great, but decent. And honestly, how could she possibly be worse than TRE45ON?
I think that the combination of the extensive travel prior to the debate and the possibility that he might have taken an over the counter antihistamine for his cold might have knocked him off the night of the debate because the next day he was fighting Dark Brandon. I know that when I take a Benadryl I can’t keep my head up and fall asleep for hours.
I told a good friend who voted for Trump that I'd take Biden in a box over Trump because it's not really about Biden at all, it's the people he brings with him. He didn't get it, which makes sense. Personalities is what they care about.
Given that Governor Whitmer was floated as a replacement, and she came out immediately to shut that down does have me thinking the governors would've planned this regardless if Biden had.
@@tangoangel2782 You'd be surprised how many people know her, because of the Trump cultists who plotted her kidnapping and the others showing up at the state capital with firearms.
@tangoangel2782 Not all publicity is good publicity. Biden has a lot of package weighing him down, someone completely fresh from outside the establishment would get a lot of votes from people that want to vote against Trump but don't like Biden. A lot of the "outsiders" are polling close to Trump even though most voters don't even know their names. Imagine if Biden stepped down and appointed a successor amongst one of them - they would almost certainly win and it would be a brilliant end to Biden's legacy, gracefully stepping down to help stop the threat to the republic and democracy. I don't think Biden's ego will let him do that, though
I was in a car with three other execs where the strategic pivot of a multi billion dollar corporation was discussed and decided during a two hour drive. That’s how sausage is made. Everything else is just the brochure.
every one that goes and votes needs to remember that the president now has total immunity. Who are you really worried about honestly an old guy that stutters? Or an old guy that is bitter wants revenge and styles himself a strong man?
I always appreciate your insights and this one where you're urging patience is right on. I would add that if a good number of the governors left shaking their heads about Biden's fitness, then we would know. (Disclaimer: I never watch the presidential debates) It seems to me that if anyone is using a 90 minute free-for-all to decide the leader of the most powerful nation in history, maybe they shouldn't be voting. We've seen both men as president and that should be enough. Also, both men have been in the public eye for decades, so please don't use the debate has your deciding vote. VOTE BLUE
Yes, I mean why should the 'undesirables' be allowed to have an opinion? They definitely shouldn't be voting either! Do ya'll actually hear yourselves?
Have you ever had a conversation with a dementia patient? I do every time I visit my mother. She typically is more lucid than Biden was during that debate. I will absolutely use a 90 minute video to judge Biden. He needs to go. I’d still vote for him if he was a weekend at Bernie’s corpse propped up by Hunter and Jill, but don’t kid yourself about him being healthy enough to hold the position.
As an outside observer, I'm struck by the way in which your msm has kept this debate critique going for so long. I'm pretty sure that if Trump had had an off day, they would have dropped it and moved on the next day. Why aren't there pundits screaming about the lies he spouted?
Trump only has off days. He couldn't stay awake in court and they just laughed a bit and moved on. My grandfather can't stay awake for a 2 hour documentary but he's not running for highest office.
Because the lies were expected. Trump has been a verbal diarrhea of lies machine for so long that everyone is numb to it. Leading the news with "Trump lied" is like Leading with "water is wet".
I'm voting for the Biden administration and the people he's chosen as his advisors. And, if they chose someone else to take his place, I'll vote for them, because the alternative is closer to Hell on Earth than I ever want to see.
